Yeah, for those on XP, we can just click to add Korean IME and Japanese IME, no downloading needed Big Smile I assume Elt is on XP too, but I'm not sure. Anyway, while using SSA and typing Japanese into it, I had to specify the character set in tag or else SSA would show it as gibberish like ^&$%&(*&)|$*| and stuff. Once the tag was in, everything showed up correctly and it encoded properly when I overlayed the subs. Maybe it's not like that for Korean (having to add a character set tag), but I haven't tried that. For Japanese, I definitely had to put the character set tag in. Japanese has a number after the \fe but I'm not sure of the number for Korean, assuming it has a number unique from the Japanese number. I assume Elt tried to put Korean text in and it didn't show up correctly? Hmm..

yup I tried directly pasting it from word to SSA and it came out as gibberish

IME = Input Method Editor. It's in your language bar Mr. Green

Yep, definitely need the character set tag. I haven't been able to find anything about the assigned number for Korean. I only know the Japanese one, but yet I can't figure out WHY it's that number Unsure

No problem, too bad I couldn't really give ya the answer you were looking for ^^;; But anyhoo....I couldn't even find the character set number for Japanese by Yahoo-ing or Google-ing. I asked someone and they gave it to me. I just tried looking in SSA's help file, but that didn't give me a number list >__<

Oh wait! Nevermind! I found it! Mr. Green I'll PM you with it the code.....

Thank you for the release Smile .

I don't have any experience inputing Korean or Japanese text in SAA but from google search, it seems that you can use Subtitle Workshop to input Korean and Japanese text.

You can download Korean language file for Subtitle Workshop at
http://www.urusoft.net/download.php?lang=1&id=korean_sw

I am not sure if the following will be any help

Ok here is the link to the SRT. I decided on SRT since I'm not very comfortable giving away the SSA file. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please note that the SRT file does not include any special effects or colors. It's basically just the subs for dialogue and on screen text. Very simple. Also I decided to release the SRT for ep 1 only, but for future releases, please count on downloading the hard subbed version. Well here goes! Enjoy! Big Smile

downloading the re-encoded hard subbed version in the future ? no thanks, i ll keep my raw where i understand only half of it.. too bad, i think a lot of pplz will do the same....... anyway i hope reubben will still post the raws.. hardsub is just plain bad, it d be heaven if every episodes, fansubbed anime and dorama were all posted softsubbed.
I know the advantage of having softsubs, but whats the advantage of having hardsubs ? none, there are only inconvenients.. and you cant even choose your police or font size..
edit: to burn as vcds maybe ? totally useless, waste of diskspace, loss of video quality, and you can always be normal and buy a divx player for your tv if you wanna watch divx on your tv, it ll take less time instead of encoding to vcd and it only cost about 75€, i bought a modded xbox only for that at 40$ and i can use VobSub on it and change the subs size and color on my tv -_-
so, there really arent any advantage...

It's not finished airing in Japan yet, so I am not sure if anyone knows the total eps yet.

No softsubs?
It is either ego ( I did the work, I want credit)
and/or someone might sell it at E-bay, so I must
put "Fan sub only, Not for sale, not for rental,
not for xxxxx"

Viva Softsubs!
Yeah, some of us had already downloaded
ep 01~04 RAW avis. We must re-download everything
again...?

how come I don't see ppl complain when JTV released Orange Days w/ subs when most everyone d/led the raws eh? I had to d/l the version w/ eng subs again, and I'm not complaining, I'm just happy someone is willing to translate the series.

My post is a direct response to
smmlt's comment.
---------------------------------------------
All I said was, had been the same and will be
the same.

(As these topis show up very frequently.)

If someone is uploading "hard subs" only.
that's fine.

If someone is uploading avi +Soft sub,
I will be happy.

That's all.
PS
Quality of this particular SRT is good.
There are many credits everywhere.(lol)
