Change! (1998) - 04 RAW

Not to be confused with Kimura Takuya's current drama, CHANGE, this particular "Change!" drama is from 1998. Sorry to be uploading this at the same time that drama is airing, I hope it isn't too confusing ^_^;;

It is the story of a school girl named Saori and her mother, Mizuho. Their relationship is awful. Saori hates her mother's work. Mizuho is a well-known actress. Her popularity has its ups and downs, but she is always busy, and Saori just hates it. However, Saori is busy herself, the boy she has a crush on at school may be about to confess to her, and she is busy with her swim team.

Just when their relationship couldn't get any worse, lightning strikes, and Mizuho and Saori end up switching bodies!

This is sort of like the 'Freaky Friday' movies, or the more recent "Papa to Musume no Nanokakan" but I will say that I am impressed by how far they took the body switch. I can't say much more without spoiling it, but I was surprised at how things worked out.

Random note- this drama includes Abe Hiroshi in an awesome role and a young Fujiwara Tatsuya (even younger than he was in Tengoku no Kiss) being very cute ^_^

This is raw, and the source is not the greatest, but I did the best I could with it. It is encoded from VHS tapes that in turn were copies of tapes from a rental store, tapes that were made recording from the original TV broadcast... THEN these tapes sat in a box in my garage for like, 6 years ^_^; Considering all that, I think they turned out okay...

Anyway, this series should be uploaded much faster than Tengoku no Kiss was. I already have all of these encoded. So I will try to upload one every other day or so.
