Osen Ep. 1 (1280x720) [Nya]

For me, I prefer getting the higher resolution of any video file which in this case would be the 720 one. But that's only because my PC is able to handle it and I'm able to connect my tower to my HDTV and use it as my monitor. Either way, whatever you choose to do I'll be happy with just because it's being subbed. So thank you for subbing this series! salut

I have a 1280 resolution, but sometimes I like to watch dramas when it's hooked up on TV, but that can only handle 1024 max. So larger than that doesn't look good.

Oh yeah, congrats with moving to great quality!Like most users here i live far from Japan and only way to see those interesting doramas is trough the net.Since clear HQ is available then it's my cup of tea rather than fast to get but blocky, low resolution encode with faded colors.I know that extra time waiting might be frustrating but quality is worth it when source is filmed in High Vision (wiki is your friend for definition *hihi*).My PC is almost ten years old, which is quite an oldie, and it handles 720 DivX pretty well.CPU usage is minimal, unlike with H264, so about 70% of multimedia ready computers in 2008 should be able to playback nicely.Lower resolution is seeded more because, previously, it was only thing available, especially for those who wanted subbed version (majority of users, i think).
Bottom line is that HDTV picture and equipment is here for almost ten years so it's time to move on.Nya, a lot of respect to what you guys are doing!

thank you very much! i don't care if it is high or low resolution because I've got a 1440x900p monitor Big Smile

but i think it is a good idea because most of the monitors are smaller than 1280p oO

Hey..how come this is about half the size of the Kzaru release? I'm absolutely not complaining about it, just wondering about the quality differences.

I just found out that my PS3 does not play the file. (due to H.264).

I would need to do conversion in order to play it on my PS3.

Any chance to change the future encoding to be Divx6 HD instead of H264 ? Just wondering.
