Hi all,

I'm currently proofreading the English subtitles for Kagayaku Onna - Ueno Juri that were translated by Neiji and Noblsheep... I hope to release them for everyone's enjoyment within a few days.

Wish me luck: this is my first (and hopefully not the last) subtitle release.

The subtitle file should still work... It's not that the video is longer... It probably was saved with a different quality setting, that's all.

Try it out... You probably won't notice the difference.

For the starters it's fine so it minds that it begins at this same point. Ending is irrelevant.
So i could point that these subtitles are working with 1.1GB version of "Kagayaku Onna - Ueno Juri.divx"

Laugh , I am assuming most people who do fansub are some how in the engineering/technical field. Well of course I come from a technical/sysadmin/video engineer background myself, so thats where my assumption comes from.

If what you say is true, then I find it odd that some of the subs are cluttered up with a lot of extraneous information that just makes the subs hard to read...

Engineers should know that "Less is More..." Mr. Green

bmwracer, really appreciate the subs. I guess you didn't translate any of it, but it's still great you posted them. Where did you find the people to translate them originally? I wouldn't have figured any one would have cause it's such a long video. But, it's good that somebody did.

Actually, I didn't find them, they found me: there's a number of dedicated Ueno Juri fans at J-Dorama and one of them approached me to proofread the subs... Since I've become a fan of Juri-chan's as well, I was more than willing to help.

Currently, someone is translating Juri-chan's 2005 movie Kame wa Igai to Hayaku Oyogu (Turtle Swim Faster Than Expected) and I hope to start proofreading that soon. Smile
