(Moderators:Please move if this is the wrong forum)
I've been typing out the dialog from the drama "Nemureru Mori"
However, unlike the SARS hard subbed version I'm typing it out into Japanese soft subs
First, I am doing this to practice my japanese. Second, to help me learn more words by giving me dialog to study instead of plain works Third, I've always wanted to find out how accurate the Joyo Kanji list of 1945 characters is. I want to know in this drama how many times each of these 1945 characters is used
I have two questions
1) If I post them in here, will I be stepping on anyone's toes
2) Will anyone be interested

Moved to the fansubbing section since you're expressing intent.
Also, a minor correction, SARS-Fansubs did not sub this. There's 2 versions of Nemureru Mori available.
1) KSCI? (or KIKU?) American TV broadcast
2)JTV fansubbed version (which from what I remember was a transcription project of the above and encoded with DVD raws).
It might be more useful to add a poll to this?
Some issues you might want to look into:
Which RAWs will you be using? Currently, there's DVD ISO images of the series on D-A's tracker but they aren't seeded.
Do you intend to use the English subbed version as a basis for timing/viewing? Viewing subtitles on top of subtitles has always been messy.
If you intend on using the English fansubbed version, it might be best to contact the original fansub group to avoid future strife.
Good luck.

I'm using subs timed from the JTV version
They are the Korean ones
I bought the book a couple a years ago and I decided to replace the Korean text with Japanese text just to practice my Japanese
I think I will be posting them shortly if any wants to see them
In conclusion, I found that the in the dialog of Nemureru Mori
1333 out of the 1945 Joyo kanji is used

RIght here, on D-Addicts. Look for "Sleeping Forest." It's a batch file by jtv and is usually well-seeded.
