This would be bigger than Full House. This would not only continue her reign as one of Asia's pop princesses, but it would have an effect of Hallyu all over Asia, just as next generation shows like Coffee Prince and Hong Gil Dong are showing.

It makes sense, but I'd hope not BoA. Please T_T

no you are right. LDG is enlisted for the military this year. the last project he'll be working on (currently working on) is "The Runaway Turtle"~
and sorry to be off-topic, but it's true, there are some jdramas that can only strictly stay as jdramas. and to be honest, i don't even want to see "Nodame Cantabile" or "Nobuta wo Produce" remade into either a TDrama or a Kdrama.

As long as they buy the rights it everything is fair game. This is why mangas are usually done by all countries... they can all easily buy manga story rights.

Im not too sure about a remake.
With the jversion about to release a ending movie
they've got some major competition.
from what ive read of this, its pretty much a battle for who ppl want to act as the characters.
I kinda doubt that suju or DBSK are gonna be in it cuz their way to busy with their tours.
Instead of popular celebs, i think they should bring out some noobs._________________

Da S: You protraying Makino Tsukushi? Will you be cuter than me? (This comment is scripted by the reporter.)
<<Hana>> Korean version
MorningPost news - After Chinese Taiwan and Japan, there will be a Kdrama adaption of the drama <<Hana>>. This has since grabbed the attentions of the Southeast Asia audiences. The netizens have also started casting their votes for their preferred choice for the roles of Makino Tsukushi & Doumyouji Tsukasa.
About 38% of the netizens feel that Yoon Eun Hye is most suitable for the role of Makino Tsukushi. There are approx. 19000 cast votes supporting YEH, this is taken up to the time this reporter hands in his news script. The netizens favour YEH becos of her previous popularized TV drama series, <<Goong>> & <<Coffee>> which are also based on manga and most important, the similarity of YEH's personality & background with Makino. But since <<Hana>>'s production team is Group Eight which was previously involved in a lawsuit with the production team of <<Goong>> while filming <<Goong>>, thus, some from the industry feel that YEH might not be favoured in this aspect. 2nd in line will be Song Hye Kyo who has a support rate of 25.5%.
The No.1 choice for the role of Doumyouji Tsukasa by netizens is Hyun Bin from <<My>>, receiving a total cast votes of 10249 with a support rate of 24.28%. 2nd choice is Rain who gets 9048 votes with the support rate of 21.48%. The 1st choice for the role of Hanazawa Rui goes to Super Junior's Han Geng who receives a high support rate of 36.26%. <Goong>>'s Prince Yul, Kim Jeong Hoon has the 2nd highest support rate of 32.84%.
This Kdrama version of <<Hana>> is set for a 24-episode run with 70 mins per chapter, aiming for the airdate in latter half of 2008.
Yoon Eun Hye is the No1 candidate for the character Shan Cai in Meteor Garden Korean version
Korea will make a film that was based on a famous manga Meteor Garden. That news has provoked tumults on the websites from few days ago.
People are curious most about is who will be the female leading-role. A few sites organized polls and as the result, the actors Jo In Sung, Hyun Bin, and Kang Dong Won took the lead of the people who had the most votes to be the male leading-role Dao Ming Si.
For the female character Shan Cai, Yoon Eun Hye is the first choice of netizens. Yoon Eun Hye was being famous from the drama Goong which was based on a comic book. The netizens was unanimous to think that she is the most suitable for Shan Cai's image. Besides, the brightly and lovely appearance of Han Ji Min and Lee Ha Na also received the netizens's support.
For the enthusiasms of audiences to the drama, production company Group 8 said "We will think about inviting famous stars or also people that have never appeared before. We must see whether or not the actors/actresses are suitable with the characters; we do not care much about their fame level."
Meteor Garden Korean version will be produced by Group 8 company which has been produced the dramas Goong S and Fantasy Couple. “Meteor Garden” may have 24 episodes and will present to Korean audiences at the end of the year 2008.

| Can't wait to see this as well. I absolutely love this. I've read the manga, seen the anime and watch both version of the live as well. Mind I wasn't impressed with the Taiwan version.

Tsukushi: Kim Ok Bin because i think she can portray a girl who is sarcastic, serious, independant and sassy
Tsukasa: Jo In Sung because i can imagine him portraying an eccentric, idiotic and extreme guy. The only problem is his hear, he needs to grow his hair
Rui: Hyun Bin because i think he would do well as a complicated introvert
