Seem to see all of these in all the K-dramas. And they are always the same type of dog!

Is this just a running gag in all dramas or is this really the only dog you see there?

My dad had one when he was kid and wants to know if we can get one here in UK since he has moved here from asia. I have no idea abotu dogs though, so I wouldnt know what type it is. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure, but in Japanese dramas they do the exact same thing. Only they use the mutt in this post.

Philia : This dog is a "Korea Jindo Dog", a typical breed from korea. For more info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_Jindo_Dog

I think it's normal to see always this dog, mostly in villages, because it's a korean breed.

Groink : Same story with the japanese Shiba Inu, one of the typical breed of japan. Smile

But Korea has more than one type of dog, of course, it's only that the Jindo is the most popular (and the smartest!) breed there.
