Rokonoko,
I really appreciate the Japanese subtitles you have downloaded. I am a teacher and have just started to use this resource. May I ask, would you please consider downloading the Japanese subtitles for:
-Nobuta wo Produce
-Tatta Hitotsu no Koi
I earlier purchased both of these video sets to show my Japanese language students, but I would like to be able to print out the Japanese script as well. Kame speaks very clearly, so his movies are relatively easy for my students to follow in Japanese.
Thanks!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Rokonoko hasn't been seen in months.

Thanks for letting me know. Was it someone else who was downloading Japanese subtitles? Did I misunderstand that? Or was it Rokonoko and he/she is just gone now?
Any other ideas for getting Japanese subtitles in a text file? Can I somehow capture them off the DVD's I purchased?

Thanks. I'm new to this forum and not too tech savy, but I would like to learn to capture the Japanese subtitles. They are awesome for my classroom.
If anyone would like me to double-check their Japanese to English translations, that's something I can do fairly easily. I can't imagine how I would find time to subtitle a whole 10 episode drama while teaching high school full-time. Hats off to the fansubbers who do it!

From what I've read awhile back on another web site, it appears that HOBANKYO is cracking down on sites that host Japanese scripts. JASRAC is doing the same thing regarding Japanese lyrics for music, which is why it is difficult to find them on-line.

| Any high school teachers reading this? I have quite a few second to third year lessons based around 3+ minutes of dialogue from various dramas. I'd be glad to email. D Addicts is a treasure for me because of the Japanese subtitles. The torrents I quit trying to use (very frustrating for me plus I have some funds to buy DVD's.) But the Japanese subtitles can be used in so many ways for learning! For example, I have one mega-document of a bunch of subtitles downloaded from this site which I "search" every time I want a real-life example of how a grammar item or vocabulary is used. For example, ~tari (~tari suru), ~naide (kudasai), or ~te wa dame.
