actually you just have to play the video. if everything is right, the subtitle will appear automatically. what player do you use? what is the file of the video and the sub?

Found you!! cheers

As the others said on here...the raw files and the sub files have to be in the same folder thats first. Then the subtitle file has to have the same Exact name as the raw file... You can copy the raw file's name by clicking properties coping the name then renaming the subfile by clicking rename and past the name in there.

To play just click on the Movie (raw) file it should play together if not then you named it wrong. I hope this helps, once you get the hang of it its easy. Goggle eyes

Here in NY we have been having warm weather then usual, not very much of a winter.
This is what I use to download the raw files http://azureus.sourceforge.net/index.php
It takes a while to download sometimes even a day if its a whole batch. But the more people downloading the same files the faster it is.

After the bit torrent downloads the file then its ready to watch. Thats where I put the subtitle files and rename them. Then they play together automatically (no timing needed to adjust) in whatever media player you
have. I have several but like WINMAP it really doesn't make a different in players I don't think.

The other thing to check is whether or not the file has actually completed its download.
It takes seconds to download a torrent, but can betwen hours and days to download the actual video file. Are you sure the download reached 100%?
When you renamed the files, did you notice if any of the files had a ".bc!" file extension?

Hi, I have a question and I hope that I can get some help with it. I downloaded vobsub and tried playing a video with a .srt file and it does not work. However, when I played it the video with the soft sub .ssa file it works. I tried renaming the .srt file and it didn't work. I tried to play it with vlc media and it didn't work. I hope that someone can help. I had vobsub and would watch dramas with softsubs all the time, but my computer crashed and I needed to get a new one and since then have been unable to watch with subs. Thanks in advance for any help.
