Not sure if this is the right forums.
But who normally rips the dramas from TV? I would like to get a message to them all.
I would like to ask them to encode them to DivX/Xvid using:
Packed Bitstream disabled
GMC disabled
QPEL disabled.
These features are well known to cause problems with hardware DivX players. I ended having to reencode them and they takes absolutely ages on my old machine!
Thats not to say I dont appreciate your efforts, if it wasnt for you guys we wouldnt be able to watch these wonderful dramas!!

For Japanese dramas, the encoders are people from Japan. I'm assuming other dramas are the same. No use to plea here, really.
