Asking a Girl to the Prom...

If prom is the highlight of your life I think you live a very sad life, unless countries that doesn't have proms don't have highlights in their life but I very much doubt that.

Go to the prom because you want to go, not because everyone expects you to. It's a meat market with supervision or that's the impression I get from what I've seen, in the media, and stories I heard from friends who actually been to one.

The sooner you ask the better, doesn't really matter in which fasion you ask it, if she agrees, then all is good, if she disagrees you still have time to ask others.

Like other said, you can always go alone, or, go somewhere else and party, it's not that big of a deal.

i had a ton of fun at prom, and i went wit friends... sorrie to burst ur bubble, but if ur gonna ask some1 u like and the both of u arent dating, that feeling of one sided love(yes the really painful yet happy one) its gonna get worst...go ask a friend, even if its an ugly friend, go wit them.. or go wit some1 u kno that likes u.. at least they will make u feel special... think of it as revenge if u go wit some1 else other than the person u like.. (i did that to the person i was in love wit in hs, had the biggest crush on her for 3 years and she screwed wit me, so i screwed wit her back, but i think i eventually lost, dont matter i didnt just sit there and get screwed over) so just go have fun.. cuz at the end, when u go wit friends, u guys can talk about prom night for the rest of ur lives

To the sweet guy who started this post, how did it go? I really hope it went well. We don't have a prom here so I'm not sure when it is. Just remember, make her feel like a princess and it'll be a night she'll never forget! good luck!!
