I apologize for my noobish question but is there a way to filter the feeds so the RSS reader only show torrents from the English Sub tab only?

At this point in time, not really.
This is because the RSS feeds directly off the tracker which doesn't know about the forum data (where the information regarding subtitle or not is stored).
If you post this in the Suggestions and Small Announcements For Improving D-Addicts thread then it'll go on my list TODOs.
