for me, akira is the most difficult role to have..
it's not easy to be bouncy all the time..
the part that i love the most is when he confessed to the "truth man" that his in love with nobuta... i just really love his reaction after that... he was shocked with what he said and happy at the same time

I was watching this old Jan 2006 SC episode which newshfan recently subbed and I realized something. Yamapi's actions and aura seems to change depending on the roles in dramas he plays. At that time, he had just finished acting in Nobuta as Akira and his whole actions and all during that particular SC episode was very Akira-ish. And during Kurosagi promos, he's always so sullen.

That's what I thought too but then again he was incredibly bubbly and hyper during when he was filming Code Blue and I gotta admit Aizawa is not that happy of a person Maybe he was just happy b/c he got to work with 3 gorgeous leading ladies on set

During filming is an exception I think. I'm talking more about outside the drama. During CB's promos and period of drama airing, he was pretty quiet n all which is normal.

But in connection with the question. I think a person who is filming a certain character for a couple of months would eventually rub off in him. And I think Yamapi has those certain personalities in him anyway, he could be Akira-ish or he could be Kurosagi in personality. He wouldn't be pulling those traits on thin air. He has it on him, its just depending on the atmostphere of where he is.

Yamapi's MOLA is my 3rd fav song of the album. 1st is Massu's Give & Take and 2nd is Forever! What I still don't get is does he mention the word Mola anywhere in the song? If he did, I didn't catch it then. How is the song related to Mola man.

Ah, I cant honestly say that Ive sat down and watched a drama where Yamapi isnt hot. I mean, thatd totally lose the fanbase right? I can just imagine a director: "Right, Yamashita-- we need you to be not hot for this role" "........."
haha when i read that it made me think about how when i saw the 'making of' clips for kurosagi the movie (which i haven't seen yet) the director asked him to act the rain scene in a less "kakkou ii" cool way.
