And the story... sometimes it feels there's none.
lol I watched the first epi.... but didnt fell anything out of it so I stoped watching, the most enjoyable pi drama for me was Stand Up, I love it to bits and pieces, and all the actors now look hotter than back then, DAYAM I so want a remake with them now or better yet a second season XDDD~~~ I would be on the floor drooling like SOOO bad ~~~

Stand Up was a long story for me at first I started watching it for Shun (HYD effect) and the story sounded interesting, I thought of Yamapi as of just another cutie at that time, but I could barely make it through the first episode. About a month later when I was deciding on what to watch, I thought I'd give it another try. Barely made it through episode two another month later, I watched episode three and I was hooked, finished it in two days (had to go to school, otherwise it would have been one) the beggining is a bit slow, but it's a great drama afterall. Second season would be like.... whoaaa

it's understandable why ur feel Sore wa was boring cuz Yamapi wasn't the main character. the lady was. but i still love the drama cuz of Yamapi's character. he's just beyond cute in it! he's cute (without being OTT) and cool so many times in the same drama. watching it, i was like "no.....my baby! don't break his heart!" and "KAWAII! i wanna pinch his cheeks!".
Sore wa will always be special to me.

"Sore wa ..." was really boring, but for me so was the "Stand up" too. I just couldn't enjoy it, however my two favourites (shun & yamapi) played in it. I think Ninomiya ruined it, no offense, but I can't stand him.
But for me the most unenjoyable Yamapi-dorama was "Lunch Queen". It was sooooo boring, and Pi was shown only a few times, so I hardly could watch till the last episode. But Pi was a skinny little brat back then, so it was worth to watch.

I loved Lunch Queen. I think it's my fav. chibi Yamapi drama actually. It didn't matter that Pi wasn't the leading role cause there were many more experienced and older actors. Tsumabuki Satoshi and Yamapi were totally hilarious as brothers and constantly fighting over the girl even though she doesn't like either. I really want to see them in a drama together again, hopefully as brothers again

Love the GIF! It really makes me wonder what his reaction would be if he knew that we did that kind of gif.... Would he be surprised and shocked or would he actually not mind and kind of enjoy it. Lol, probably not but it brings up the interview were he said he wanted to be the man a girl would want to 'hold' a.k.a 'sleep with'. (Or at least, thats the way the translator told it )
Ppoi
I watched the series just the see Chibi-Pi, and I found his act ok for his age and experience. Of course, you cant exept the same quality of him like we do now so... And I noticed that Pi looks a lot like himself when he was younger (not the older teen pi, but the chibi pi). Especially in kurosagi. But that's my opinion i guess.
Stand Up!
I liked the story line but the drama seemed a bit long for me. As for Pi, i liked him a lot in that one. I just find Pi so kawaii when he acts as a shy/weird guy. And he got a kiss scene in it, which you don't find much with him... (Although it is a conserved type kiss, you know the ones where they don't move at all, or almost)
Sore wa Totzunen Arashi no You ni
I loved that serie. Pi's act got a little better and i just had so much pity for his character i couldn't stop watching until i finished it. He was really cute yet again. Plus, instead of being shy he was king of selfish and sarcastic wich I like. Plus there were times were he was kink of romantic. Made me want to be the old lady.
Dragon Zakura
I really liked the story, although it did go on for quite a bit. (I seem to somehow love the crazy trick the teacher had up his sleeve)Plus, it was one of the first times I saw Pi as a bad guy...I didn't dislike it at all ! Altough, at first his hair kind of buggued me, but after some time i came to like it (or almost ).
Nobuta wo Produce
To the contrary of a lot of people, i didn't really like it. I found the story ok, but it really was dull after some time. BUT, Pi's performance was one of my favorite of all of his work. I absolutely loved akira!! I really got to see Pi's talent to do different roles in Nwp. He was probably the only reason I watched it to the end. Even now, from time to time when i need to see Yamapi, i watch his bits in the drama. Still today, I can't beleive his sister MS'ed him and said she loved shuji, and didn't get akira's character!
P.s.: I'm sorry if I offended anyone who really liked the drama
Kurosagi
I LOVED it! I absolutely love Pi as a sad, angsty and cute/funny guy at times character. Everytime i saw him angry for revenge or just sad, it made me close to tears. There were a lot of moments were i just wanted to hug him until all his sadness want away. As for the story, i loved it to. I didn't find it long at all, i actually would want a second season. There still is the movie, but I still want to know if he ever is going to stop swindling?! Oh, and I couldn't wait for the maki/pi scenes!
Hidden:
It's just a shame nothing really happened between the two...Lol, but I loved the scene in the movie where Kurosagi got really close to her, and after saying I think 'you're annoying 'or someting like that said 'I can see your room', she hurried inside and ' I can see an idiot' and he closed her door,!! I don't know how many times I watched just that scene but it was a lot of times!
Proposal Daisakusen
I really loved the story. I enjoyed the fact that Pi finally got a leading role in a romance . As for the character, i liked him, not my favorite but i actually though he looked like and older more matured akira... And it made me realize how much Pi looked handsome with whatever he did. ( The many scenes where he runs, normally people don't look that good, but Pi was by far the most handsome guy I've seen running! )
Shounen wa Tori ni Natta
The story was so touching! Like a mini version of a different 1 litre of tears. (I know that it's completely different stories but you knoe, two deadly illnesses, a time limit...) And Pi looked so kawaii. I cried( not sobbed people, I don't sob. Meaning i have tears falling down but thats it , ok?) quite a bit in this one two. I think I'll never get bored of a drama with a dying Pi in it...
Byakkotai
My favorite historical drama! The story is a really touching one, and so sad. Once again Pi shows us how diverse of an actor he can be. Absolutely loved it and him.
Code Blue
In general, I really love medical series. So add that with a Doctor Pi, and you have a drama I'll love withouth hesitation! Even if obviously we haven't seen much of it yet, I think it's going to be one of my favorite of Pi's. Once again, he has another kind of character that's different from the others, but still pulls it off really well.

it's not like I would only watch those dramas where Yamapi is a lead ;) reading synopsis I thought it could be interesting, mainly because finaly it sounded like a real life. I mean, even wifes fall in love and it doesn't always work out. But watching the drama.. it was too slow, too boring and generaly not well done. But I did love sarcastic dancing Yamapi

Nobuta wo produce
One of my favourite dramas, mainly because Akira is such a loveable character, but I also like the storyline, and I like high school dramas in general. This is the drama where I first noticed Pi (which means it changed my life )
Dragon Zakura
It's fun, and I like the Pi / Masami's storyline and the weird stuff they do in the classroom, like ping pong math...
I didn't like the teacher/lawyer character that much, but otherwise it's great. Love Pi's hair! I think it's sexy
Kurosagi
Pi is super hot in it, of course. I don't think he get's to show much of his acting skills in this, but as long as he looks hot... that's all we need right? ;) Also he looks stupid in a beard LOL
Code Blue
Loving it so far. Pi's character is arrogant, but I think there's a good guy in there somewhere. I wonder if there'll be any off duty action in this or if they will be at the hospital the whole time...
Ppoi
Supercute chibi drama. Pi is adorable
Sore wa...
I love it, even though the story is a little slow. I don't usually think Pi looked very good during this skinny period, but in this for some reason he's absolutely beautiful. And there's chemistry between him and the woman, even with the very visible age difference.
Proposal daisakusen
I got totally into this drama. Pi's acting is great. Masami's acting is good too, but her character is annoying. By the way, I took a screencap from one of his running scenes, you can't tell it's Pi from the cap, but he looks really buff, really super buff, I was amazed (I'm at work now, so I can't post it up).
Stand up!
I love it, it's cute and funny. Super cute and super funny
IWGP
I didn't notice Pi at all when I first watched this, but then I rewatched it. Overall I think it's a great drama, one of the best. Pi's role is small but significant.
Lunch Queen
Pi's part is small, but there's a great scene where he tries to steal the girl and I almost fell off my chair laughing
Byakkotai
I don't really like period drama, so this was a little boring for me, but there was some touching scenes. Plus he looks hot in the contemporary scenes.
Long love letter
A weird story, but worth watching for Pi, even though his part is once again not that big. But he always has a few memorable scenes.

Well I'm not a Pi expert, stil catching up in his doramas, but I've loved the ones I've seen.
NwP: At first I thought he was so annoying, but around chp 3 I was Kon Kon all day long. Then I became an Akira fan!
Kurosagi: Drove me crazy since the Opening LOL I thought this dorama was kind of funny, but then with the movie I got impressed, it seemed like a more ... grown up kurosagi? Some fans think it was boring but I found the change quite interesting because I had only watched him in funny characters and during the movie he was kind of melancholic.
Byakkotai: I think this might be my favorite one so far because I cried until my eyes ran out of tears. I think Mineji was so cute and then ... everything else! I loved the plot and Pi's performance.
Prodai: Loved it a lot, he is a little bit clumsy but couldn't stop watching and crying (I'm not pretty sure why ...)
Ppoi: He was too cute, like the nephew whose cheeks I would squeeze daily. I can't comment a lot because I only watched half of it and with no subs so I undestood almost nothing!
Stand Up: I've only watched 3 chapter but he is quite a guy! He was so thin and cute and his heart melting smile
Code Blue: Again, I'm shocked by Pi's skills, this is a VERY different character and I think he's doing great. I'm waiting to see how this dorama will go.

@ kathia_sophia:
it seems like out of the 4 u wach, u only like 1. how do you like the character if you don't really like the drama? like for me, i don't like Kurosagi so i don't really care much for that character. but love Akira in Nobuta cuz i love that drama.
but that happens, if you dont like a drama at least there should be some things that are good in it.
Nobuta wo Produce is not a good drama but not a bad drama either, the story of friendship is cute and Akira(Pi) character's made up for it, if it wasnt for Pi's character i hadnt watch it...
for exemple: i hated the Aviator(movie) with leonardo dicaprio, that movie sucked and was so boring, but leo's acting was so good, i loved the way he acted. his character was so excentric. but overall the movie was annoying

I didn't watch all the drama Yamapi was in... I also first read the storyline and then decide if it's worth it. Sometimes I finish after some episodes, too... It just depends, right?
Btw. I wanted to post this here, too haha
As I will be in Japan for one year starting thursday I will write an online diary in my lj.
