Great series, thanks for subbing it.
Just a small note, the rank of "Captain" doesn't exist in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, after Sergeant it would be "Assistant Inspector" then "Inspector".
I think Inoue's immediate boss is an Assistant Inspector, while his boss (the mean guy) is an Inspector. And according to the badge of the boss of their unit or department (the guy in the Police Uniform) his badge indicates that he's a Police Superintendent.

| Correcting my last post instead of being a Assistant Inspector, according to episode 5 he is a Police Inspector (he shows his badge in this episode and I manage to freeze frame it).
