Could it be "The Star of your Dream"? I don't think you can translate tagalog word per word in english because it will have a different meaning. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. dreaming to be a star in tagalog is pangarap na maging bituin..
the "bituin" that they are mentioning in the drama is a thing that they want to achieve which is the star or in other words stardom (being famous & celebrity) gosh, I'm really confuse with other people's thoughts.. anyway, It doesn't matter to me as long as I know, for me, I know that I can understand english and tagalog very much.. so peace to all, we have diff. point of views but still we're all Filipinos so walang awayan ha, hehehe

Makikisali lang hahaha... perhaps it's "Dreaming of a Star?" It would literally mean "Nangangarap ng isang bituin", but the meaning closely resembles "Pangarap na Bituin". Whatchathink?

Oh yeah, I remember that I mentioned something about how weird it would be if filipino movies, dramas, or whatever had english subtitles...well, check this out --->

At first it was just a thought, but now... wow... (or maybe I'm just not used to seeing filipino "stuff" having english subs) xD

its a good watch. jerico rosales is in that show. comments from other filipino viewers, (form my friend actually who's a die hard fan of fil soap operas) the acting was so natural that you would think it wasn't an acting at all.
well just think of sarah geronimo and some newbie actresses WITH jerico rosales. (i never watched this until last Tuesday night, my ABS channel is really crappy) i would say its pretty good. but...
my card is still in Sana Maulit Muli. the story itself is worth watching... (nevermind the actors. except for jake cuenca!!! )

hehehe.. tinatagalog ko lng ung mga translations nila na feeling ko mali... ung kay wangbu na dreaming of a star= nangangarap ng isang bituin, malapit nga sya sa pangarap na bituin, kaya tama un, un ang pinakamaganda at pinakanaiintindihan ko na tinranslate, hehehe at don na matatapos ang topic kc ung iba di maintindihan cnb nila hehe iba ung tagalog at english translation nila sa cnb nila, no offense meant, basta kung ano ung naintindihan ko un lng ung tinatagalog so far wala pa naman nagsabi na mali ung tagalog at english translation ko, hehehe..
ung iba kasi cnasbi na dreaming to be a star eh mali un kc nga pag tinagalog un eh pangarap maging bituin o nangangarap na maging bituin, basta, last ko na 'to bout panagarp na bituin na yan, hehe.. naloloka na rin ako...
