Since most people and sites have limited bandwidth and people watch streaming video because they are too impatient to wait for downloads, you will be hard pressed to find streaming sites of high-quality, new drama. (Especially since it's also illegal.)
You're encouraged to set up torrents and download drama instead. If you don't like it, then simply delete it and it won't take up any of the precious harddrive space. Downloads are also more likely to be of higher quality.
tudou.com has low quality Chinese videos, and usually have the newest ones. However, they do not have subtitles.
If, however, you are looking for subbed drama, most groups discourage streaming their work, and I would, again, suggest that you download the episodes instead.

Think about it... What if a streaming site streamed the 350MB files that are available on D-Addicts in its entirety? That would be a very VERY expensive proposition on the part of the site owner. Looking at D-Addicts donation article, Ruroshin is paying an average of $500/month for bandwidth used up by just text and still graphics! Just imaging the amount of money streaming would involve. According to YouTube, they spend over $2.0 million dollars A MONTH on just bandwidth. And we're talking about lousy quality 320x200 videos.
That is why when a site streams video content, the compression and bitrate must be low in order for the site's owner to keep the cost of bandwidth low.

First of all, thanks for the site you have given, it seems to be a nice Chinese youtube. Secondly, not all people that choose streaming video over download are considered to be "impatient", it can also represent that those individuals are willing to "pay a cost" for the time spent searching torrents for TV series/movies (since majority of torrents/download only cost "time"), you can call it a fair transaction I suppose.
For the copy rights, correct me if I'm wrong but it wouldn't be considered to be "illegal" as long as the sources they (site owners) provide are not licensed over in US. Also, they (site owner(s)) can get copy rights approval from the company(s) if the sources is licensed.

That's when the monthly fee comes into play? Notice I did stated that some sort of "payment is expected" in my post. Anyhow, thanks for the info you provide.

ethidda did say "most" streaming users are impatient. she didn't say all.
also, fansub groups are even less likely to allow their work to be posted on sites that request money to stream or even download from. they don't enjoy someone else making money off their hard work that they do for free and for the benefit of other fans.
if you are willing to shell out money to see asian dramas and movies, buy dvds. get netflix.
if you are looking for raw asian movies and tv streamed on the web, there are actually lots of internet tv stations online that are free and pay. just google for asian internet tv. you cant miss them.

Nope, still totally illegal. Copyrights hold no matter what the country of origin is. The loop hole we all rely on is the fact that Asian countries aren't marketing to Western countries so they don't often care enough to sue. That doesn't make it any less illegal and if a streaming site was making large profits from the dramas I'm sure that the Asian production companies would catch on and shut them down.
