I'm quite excited to see how things will turn out. I know we're pushing the envelope here when it comes to the law and stuff, but it's nice to see people willing to work on making subs in order to bring our shows to a bigger audience.

And it's very pinoy for people to converge and want to help out like this. Sugod mga kapatid!

Legally I don't think we'd be doing anything wrong by releasing only subtitle files, especially if the translation was done by fans and not directly ripped from the DVD/VCD. But then again they'd be useless if no ripped video files could be uploaded, so there's no real way of going around it. The legalities are the same with all the other anime and doramas either way, and usually (I hope it doesn't come to this) companies will give a warning, or "cease and desist" letter... I'm not that familiar with the law though, this is mostly based on what I've observed with licensed anime and some dramas. :/ I'm kind of getting in way over my head in this so if someone who's well versed with the law or how this works, please feel free to enlighten us Smile

yeah, theyre very strict nman if it is riiped from their original eh di ba, since this is just a fansubs, so nothing to worry as long as we put the logo or the name of the team....

.. goo goo n nga to excited me, para nman di lng tau ang nanonood ng drama nila share naman natin ung sariling atin di ba?....

@ peeji - About the legalities of fansubbing and uploading videos here... all I can say is that if the big networks do go after us, we'll be a landmark case that's for sure. I'll look up on it... do you think we'll get in trouble with Edu and his gang? Any chance we can get permission for this? Or am I just dreaming an impossible dream? Laugh
