If it's how fansubbing works, I already know most of the technicalities but I'm not sure how such groups are formed and maintained... but my friend is a part of a fansub group who could help us.

And I'm sure a lot of fansubbers here at d-addicts would be willing to help us about that Cool

The only problem we would have then is where to get the raws... but it looks like we have a good source of raws now, eh? Roll Eyes

it would be nice if there will be a filipino subbers who will sub or translate philippine series or teleserye to english... i think it will be much easier because we filipinos are good in english plus the fact that we can help the philippine industry when it comes to our dramas or teleseryes or telenovelas... i thought they're looking for filipino subbers who will sub foreign language into tagalog, but there's no need to translate those to tagalog because we understand english already because english is our 2nd language here in the philippines.. not like the other asians.

Thanks sweetserenity. It's good to know someone's translating japanese anime/series... do they translate in Filipino/Tagalog?

What I'm doing is quite the opposite, been translating filipino movies into english (I'm thinking of subbing fil dramas too.) Maybe if you got some time would you like to help? Wub

side comment: i would like to sub some movies too... coz movies in the phils are shorter than dramas... and it gets interesting too. it could be like a starting point of something.

Good news! I just got permission from WingTip (the uploader for the Filipino movies)... we can post them here, as long as we give credit to the original uploader (WingTip, that is).

As for the Fil dramas poster (Linyx), I'm still awaiting for his response. Well, at least we have a head start for Fil movies!

@sweetserenity - Yup, I've been to the Filipino thread and the posts there change at lightning speed. Kind of hard to keep up. Laugh

It has a lot of regulars who seem to know each other quite well.

I'm not so sure about the link... but I'm quite sure it's discouraged. This site basically caters to dramas and specials. But maybe it's possible if it's in an appropriate thread. We can provide links for direct downloads on the fansub website or forum when everything's set up.

I've heard ABS-CBN did a HDTV format for their series, "Rounin". But that's just it... all the rest are just the plain ones.
