TLS recruiting ppl for future projects.

YOU MUST HAVE THESE REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be available for a weekly subbing task or for the tasks that you signed up.

- Must be able to work fast and finish their tasks within the given time frame.

- Must be available for the duration of the series.

- Must be able to operate Aegisub.

- Must check e-mail/PM regularly.

SUBBING REQUIREMENTS:

- Translators/Translation Check/Spot Translators - must be fluent in English, must have a good grasp of original language and able to read the original language.

- Timers - For Cdramas - timing done accurately to C-subs. For JDramas - timing done via audio.

- Typesetter - karaoke sfx is a plus but not necessary.

- Karaoke SFX - fansubbing experience necessary.

- Editor - must be fluent in English (Editors don't just simply fix grammar and punctuation. They must know how, when and where to rephrase translations that sounds 'Engrishy').

- Quality Control - must be knowledgeable in all aspects of fansubbing, fansubbing experience necessary.

- Encoder - encoding experience necessary, fansubbing experience is a plus but not necessary.

TLS is collaborating with Girigiri Fansubs on the upcoming drama VOICE with Eita, Ikuta Toma, and Ishihara Satomi. I'll be leading the project, and I need people for the following positions. Be aware that experience is necessary for each position:

Timer
Typesetter
Karaoke Timer
Karaoke Typesetter

The timer must be willing to time the script within 24 of the RAW release and also be able to do time checks in that time. If you're interested in these positions, PM me here at d-addicts or join the TLS board and PM me there or reply to the VOICE Recruiting thread.

Experience (If yes, state your experience):i helped in timing and encoding miss no good in overstream as a member of asianfanatics.net fansubbing team. these days i am doing the timing of 100% senorita (i have just finished ep 16 and i am waiting for the translator to send me next episode). i have also edited some lines of hot shot, invincible shan bao mei in viikii.net.

Reason for applying as TLS 's staff: i want to help bring asian series to a wider audience as well as learn other languages in the process

* i only have a fair amount of free time since i am still studying, but i have a lot of commitment (plus, if it's just editing, i can read and type fast as well. hehe.). Smile

* edit: i don't know how to use Aegisub yet but i've downloaded the program to study. Smile

TLS is recruiting for spring season projects. Here are the list of TLS's upcoming projects.

Atashinchi no Danshi - Collaboration with GiriGiri

BOSS - Collaboration with Haruspex
