Sorry mate but the subs are sound. Check your codec, see if the subs are enabled, try using a different player. sometimes codecs are incompatible with different file types or players. You need to go to the tech help section and read on for additional help. The subs work fine for me.

Make sure that there are no spaces, extra dots in your renaming of srt/avi files.

They must match in names. Best way is to copy the name of the avi file then rename the .srt file to fit it.

Try playing it with windows media player classic, if all fails. Your best bet is to use VLC media player. Open the file and load the subtitle file, and that should work.

Hey folks, thanks so much for your replies! I downloaded VLC media player. Didn't work. Tinkered with the renaming of the file (I did cut & paste of the raw file name to the .srt file.. but it kept not working like it ought to)

BUT finally, I must have tinkered somewhere correctly! Works fine now!

The .avi file name of episode 13 has an extra SPACE at the end, while the .srt file does not have. That why it does not work if one overlooks that SPACE.

I heart you guys so much for the subs!! Thanks!! The only problem was I stayed up way too late plowing through eps 12 - 14. This is getting so good and I am looking forward to the last 2 eps. Thanks again for your hard work!!!! w00t
