The Guide to the Soft Sub

一つ
After downloading your soft sub file, locate your video file


二つ
After locating your video file, if not done so already, rename your sub file to the SAME file name as the video OR rename the video to the same file name as the sub file. They must also be in the same folder.


最期
After completely both tasks, open up your video file and your media player should launch. Then, viola, subtitles are playing.


YOU MUST HAVE THE VOBSUB PROGRAM DOWNLOADED OR ELSE YOUR SUBS DON'T WORK. TO GET VOBSUB, CLICK HERE

With VLC Media Player

This is easier for you still confused:

Open your VLC player and find your video file


Then locate your sub file and put it in the subtitle field and press okay, your subs should play.

piepie, right click with mouse, choose save as and change the extension from .hmtl to .srt, it should work.

I can't save it as .srt Sad

If I right-click it then put "Save As"... the only extensions I get are "html" or "All types" (or something, since I'm translating this from portuguese xD)
If I left-click it, it shows me a white page with all the subs mixed together.

Can anyone send me the .srt file, or something? Sad

edit

save it with the html then go to the folder you save the file and change it with srt
he will give you a box of yes .. say Yes and you will have the sub Cool
