personally I think it's normal / appropriate for girls to at least wear some perfume. I have noticed that most asian girls don't have the habit to wear perfume. I am chinese and i know it is a culture thing / habit to not wear perfume but doesn't the surrounding just kind enforces you to wear some? I mean it smells nice...
also I am a freshman in college and i don't thin it's all that easy to make friends during classes. i mean it is a bunch of strangers going to class and maybe stumbling over 1 person everyday. What do you guys take on such thing? Is college really ALL that easy to make friends and have a network? What's the best way to make more friends and have meaningful ones comparing to random strangers as friends?

This is advice that came from my own expirience |
sometimes I think it's good to not take myself too seriously. Today I had my first philosophy lecture class and it was hell. The prof went so fast and I couldn't even finish taking my notes down. Gar... and then homework due next friday. Headache :*(

some guys do not like girls to wear perfume or make-up, there are always 2 sides to it, and one of them would be that this kind of external additions to the body seem fake... some guys prefer their girls to look simple yet sweet
well, as a girl, i totally dislike the smell of perfume so i never put it, just minimal scented powder is good enough. but its up to individual taste, then get a boyfren who seconds that.. hehe..

Can any guy honestly say they don't care about appearance?
All last year, I was busy with school work and just pulled on whatever was in my closet before leaving for my classes. Only my friends would ever see me and say hi to me.
This year, I've made extra time to dress up. A nice skirt (occasionally a mini), a fitting shirt, a nice pair of heels, and a dab of clear, sparkling lip gloss. I brush my waist-long hair until I can run a comb through it instead of tying it up in a messy ponytail. It helps me feel confident, and makes me not skip class after I spent all the effort to get ready for the day. And guess what? Guys who never knew of my existence started saying hi to me.
It's true even with the "nice" guys who didn't seem to care about a girl's looks.

| lol. A horrible image just popped into my head. When I said "pulled out of the closet", I meant just a t-shirt with jeans, worn flip-flops and a comfy sweatshirt (not baggy, just comfy). Nothing too horrible... I don't think.

Hi ppl!!!...I haven't checked this place for a long time...also I'm single again so I'm confused with myself because I did all the oposite from what u ppl have sugested about what guys want...
Now some of my friends think I'm a mindless, cruel ****...others think I'm stupid for being alone again(and it's all my fault ^_^;;;)and just one of my friends thinks I'm right for choosing to be alone.
Do u guys think that u can make yourself adorable just by breathing and sleeping? Guys expect for girls not to be nerds and not to act like a lot smarter than they are....than how stupid I must be with a guy that is just barely walking ZOMBIE and nothing else???
Is it such a big problem if girl wants inteligent guy by her side????
@Shadow Hexagram...no worry...it's MY thread so I want it all honest...no mercy!
heh...long one....ja-na!

| As a girl getting a double degree in computer science and materials engineering... I should hope that guys don't want mindless zombies. O.o Otherwise, I might as well resign myself to being asexual.
