im watching it now weeee still have high hopes for my wanted ending

Etto... does anyone have any theory on the "smiling fat boy" that appears in every episode?
I find him incredibly funny, just walking by with that grin on his face...

Anyway, yeah, even if the technical details of mio's heart condition are totally fake, the drama is more about the personal journeys she and her brother are going through, ne? along with wonderfully written side characters, great performances by all the cast, smart and funny dialogs... etc.. etc.. etc... pinch

i have some bad news
i have a birthday party to attend tomorrow night so i may not be able to watch the last episode of first kiss which means i wont be able to give you all spoilers hot of the press sorry!!!
ill probably see if i can tape it though and watch it when i get home from the party

this dorama is greatly written.. especially on the first few episodes.. you dunno who's gonna end up with who..
and it was great looking at Inoue Mao as someone other than Tsukushi. LOL
she's so pretty here..

and finally ppl are noticing Hiraoka Yuuta.. (i think his greatness has been overshadowed in Tatta Hitosu no Koi, and ProDai; by Kame, and YamaP).. he's been in three 9PM monday doramas.. and i think that says a lot!..

oh.. and i'm so loving SARS for this (and for Hana Kimi)..

can't wait for the last few episodes.

im definitely excited to watch both First Kiss and Hana Kimi finale and Yuuta is really great in this and i luv to c he n Mao together but i cant find any of their magazine scan together....can anyone share their picture together???dont they do any promotion???i hope Yorokobi tape the show and will share the detail with us..i really want to know how they end this drama...really hope for happy ending for Mio and Yuuki sensei and i hope they will have their first kiss at the end thumleft

I think its because the first few episodes werent as appealing as many people thought. Even I have to admit that I found it boring at the start but only watched it for Inoue Mao Wub

But since eps 5 it has gone o good *-* loving it now!!

I started watching First Kiss yesterday and just finished episode 2 (yeah I know I'm behind, lol). I've kind of been keeping up with the tread so I know some of the things that happen and I have to agree with the people who said that some episodes go nowhere. As I was watching ep2 I kept thinking to myself "What is the point of all of this?". But whatever's lacking in terms of plot is made up by the awesome acting. The dialog between Mio and Kazu is done really well and the roommates are lots of fun. I'm hoping the rest of the story will be just as good.

First Kiss is only my second jdrama to date so I can't say for certain if it's up to 'standards'. In my opinion though, I didn't find it a boring series. True the script was a bit weak, but I think the acting made up for it. I think the problem with a lot of jdramas is that they air only once a week, so it's easier for people to forget the storyline and generally lose interest in it altogether. Since there were no major cliffhangers or new story development, I think if it aired 5 days a week it might have done better.

Well still, I found myself quite enjoying the drama. I think the cast did a great job in their roles. Especially loved the chemistry between Onii-chan and Mio. Not to mention Yuki sensei!! I think I might experience some Yuki sensei withdrawal symptoms soon! Wub

Speaking of which, how did everyone find the last episode?
