i happened to see a "Making of" video for her new CD Cherish and she was sporting a new really really cute hairstyle! i was going to try to capture it and upload it here to request someone update the wiki - but you already beat me to it Laugh i love the pic! i totally want to cut my hair like that but there is no way i could pull it off haha.

i really recommend the song "Oyasumi" on the CD - i think it's written by Oda Kazumasa and he does a little background vocal in it. totally perfect for both of their voices.

(how can there not be a thread for Matsu Takako ... she's wonderful!)

i agreed with you that oyasumi is a great song, an yes it's written by oda kazumasa who also wrote "honto no kimochi" for her back in 2003.. unforturnately this new album of her is a bit disappointing at least to me.. but anyway, i still love her.. Mr. Green Tongue

I love Mat Chan !! She's soo cute in all her dramas, movies and everything ^^ thx so much for starting this thread!!

I love all of her songs , her voice is just soo wonderful !! cant wait to see her in Hero the movie, really miss her and Takuya acting together!! they r the best couble on screen in my opinion!!

Uness I am totally wrong it seems to me that she was earning over two million dollars a year a few years ago. that is really very good for Japan. I guess she is very popular in Japan apart from being in projects that go overseas. she is a very sweet young lady I think.

In most of her doramas, she seems to play characters from northern Japan. Is her accent that thick ?
