Japanese Subtitles for English Language TV programs

I've been looking for a good source for Japanese subs for western shows for quite some time now. I've exhausted google in my search attempts and have almost given up looking. My reason for wanting JP subs is because I live in Japan with my wife and her family who are all Japanese and they all want to watch certain shows with me but can't understand the complicated English used in many of the shows I watch. Thus JP subs would be great.

I have found some for some of the more popular shows such as 24 but they are slow to come out. So, I was wondering if anyone out there has found a good source for JP subs that they would like to share with me.

Or even torrents for western shows with hard JP subs from past seasons would be cool.
