But after watching 7 episodes I still didn't really like any of the characters and found them all kind of distasteful or annoying. The only thing I did like about the show is that it's probably one of the better 'food' shows, as that they often included a lot of shots of really good food being cooked ^__^
Hello Miss on the other hand, I didn't even plan to watch, and just watched one episode to check it out... but then totally got hooked on how funny/sweet it is (way funnier than witch!) and I really like the back story/environment regarding the historical korean estates / traditions... all really interesting. |
I started on a different note, but think in the end, I feel the same as Puffin.
I highly anticipated Hello Miss because of LDH. After previewing without subtitles, I almost discontinued after a few episodes. I didn't see the chemistry between the main leads, and thought the story line was pretty boring When complete subtitles came out, I decided to give it a second try. Though it's not the best of all the LDH's dramas, it's actually not bad....light and kinda sweet... especially towards the end.
As for Witch Amusement, I initially thought it was more entertaining. As I watched about half way, I got more annoyed at the main characters, especially the female lead. I tried, but just couldn't connect with her (unlike the mean female character from Fantasy Couple). And, as much as I liked JH from Delightful Girl, I just couldn't bring myself to appreciate his character here (he's still somewhat funny here though). Like Puffin said, what's good about this show is the tasty "food" cos I'm hungry.

Witch was better for me. Better because of JH, Dennis and the senior guy. The guys performed well. I didn't like the story towards the ending & ending. Very biased ending, like "this is how something should end". I felt bad for the other characters. Too many loose ends as well. I won't spoil it for those who haven't watch it completely. The OST and cooking was great and a big plus point. You get to see something creative.
I started watching Hello miss WAY before Witch Yoo Hee, the story is too boring for me. Still at episode 5, barely half done. I really cannot comprehend the overacting and the storyline. Why can't the Aegishi wait for the summer harvest or something to repair the old buildings? I see the main actress cast portrayed as a gullible person. Too-fake for me. The 2 grandsons and the grandfather's acting were so cute. This drama is cute. Anyway, i am planning on completing this drama. Hope it gets better. I feel the guys did better in both the drama.

| I didn't vote for either one because both had a very interesting beginning but disappointing endings (kinda boring towards the end). Maybe my expectations were too high after enjoying My Girl and DGCH...

| WYH definitly, Han Ga IN, soo cutee, her eyes and nose and lips are perfect haha i think WYH had a more in depth plot then Hello MISS, the last 5 episode was so boring i was pretty multitasking the whole time. The only thing about WYH that i didnt like was the main male lead, i thought he was kinda fruity, and his style was hideous, ahha i think this is the only drama with 3 guys likeing her hah

| Yu Hye was lot better, but both really didn't make much sense. I wouldn't really dare recommend them to anyone either...
