Is anyone aware of someone making/planning to make/ have already done soft subs for proposal daisakusen ep 2 , etc.?

And yes, Love Song announced we were going to sub this series on February 23rd, almost exactly 2 whole months before this series even aired.
There is no "first dibs" on this. Soft subs and hard subs are in separate categories all on its own. Just because some people want "the faster sub," people start jumping to conclusions that this or that group took someone else's project. This seriously does not make me feel good at all. My group has always been respectful to other subbers and even turning projects down when others want to sub it. We always take that extra step to communicate with other subbers so that our projects do not clash together.
So yes, I feel awful that thekaje has decided to stop subbing. We really hoped that he could continue even if he took his time because we knew a lot of people looked forward to his subs. And yes, because we supported him and then some of these people here had to spew out such harsh words towards my group before doing their research, I do take this to heart. |
It seems like I was a bit late in readeing this. BTW the way, thanks for the reply the other day. I was unable to reply to you, sorry about that. I totally forgot. And thanks for what you said.
@thekaje: I'm sorry it didn't turn out well, bud. I hope your future subbing projects will turn out better. If you ever need help, just send me a message. 
Everyone should understand that both parties should be respected. Let's give credit where credit is due. Both LS and thekaje started this project with the sole purpose of bringing us subbed versions of the dramas that we are watching, in order to understand, and fully enjoy them. No one is trying to compete with the other in terms of subbing, and it sure won't do both of them any good competing against each other. And some, if not most of us here, download both versions. I, for one, watch both the RAW/soft subbed and hard subbed versions of the dramas I like, since both versions are well-made. Assuming things without checking the facts, and posting inappropriate and careless comments just isn't right. THESE are the reasons why fansubbers become dispirited. So I hope in the future, we should think before we post._________________

And I think that it's 'kind of rude' that you're saying things like that without even doing your research properly. Love Song announced that it would be subbing ProDai in February, and for the record, Love Song did not sub 1 Litre of Tears. If you want to make such accusatory statements in future, at least get your facts right.

I can only agree with gemtsoi. Either state the real fact or leave it.
It was first Kioku and not LS. Secondly both group (for "1 litre of tears" started at same time subbing it. Cause both groups loves Ryo who played Haruto Aso in that dorama. Just one was faster the other slower. Kioku did a mistake too, and we did appologized several times for our mistake. As conclusion, we never released our one litre of tears subs in DA.
Why PBF stopped subbing after Dandori, i dont know. But fact is that such rude comments from certain users can really go into heart, especially if you spent time in subbing something. So maybe you ask yourself who is rude, and why certain group just stops to sub.
So please let this "1 litre of tears" topic closed.

mariana, thanks a lot for offering! It would be really appreciated because I downloaded the first 3 episodes in chinese hardsubbed (& my chinese not so good) so i need soft subs... and since love song version is 700MB each it was too big for me to download. I had to stick with rmvb's. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OFFERING & THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
