UAE has blocked the download torrent links from this site!!!

I'm so sorry about this post, I guessed it fits in this forum because this is not exactly a technical issue...

I've been living here in Dubai, UAE for about 2 years now and I just recently discovered the joys of downloading (seeding and uploading) torrents because my favorite dramas are not available in this country. My mom usually send me the dvds but not often so I resorted to downloading torrents because it's more convenient.

But now, just a few hours ago, I tried downloading the torrent for Hana Yori Dango and it's BLOCKED by the UAE telecommunications company. They blocked all torrents for this site and I don't know why. I know that they mostly block anything offensive to their religion (which is totally understandable) but I just don't get why they would block torrents for these dramas...I mean these dramas are good and wholesome and fun. I just feel so down...I'm planning on doing a complaint but I'm not sure if there are other people in this site who lives in the UAE...I might end up being the only person this country who will complain and it wouldn't help one bit.

I just feel so down and I don't know if I can do anything about it. I need my dramas. I need it to live.

I feel so sad.

I was surprised also when I discovered that they blocked d-addicts tracker..I was so angry *-* asian dramas doesn't have bad contents or anything related to it..while there are a lot of other torrent sites which still unblocked..why exactly d-addicts tracker? T-T there are a lot of people here who sent them emails and even called them..I hope that they will unblock it soon...I just want to know the reason behind this Glare

As my sister ( Love Angel ) said that they block even that asian drama in general don't have a bad content..
I have written till now morw than 6 feedback hoping that they'll response soon..
It's really annoying cuz that problem couldn't let me to continue download & upload dramas.. Crazy

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i'm so frustrated.. i just cant download asian dramas...
I will write to them too..
there are many people who want to download asian dramas coz we can't find them here...

i hope they would unblock the site.. they don't have a good reason for blocking the site...
isn't there any proxy that we can use to download the dramas????

just use a proxy or maybe PM me with whatever torrents you want and i'll post them on my private server so you can download and delete them later, if that's consistent with the rules of d-addicts Tongue
