Why can't I display the eps 2 subs? I am fine with eps 1 subs. scratch

^^ do you mean when you can't download the file. but they just showed text in the brower instead?

if that's the case

right click on download, select 'save target as'.

if in file name box says it srt file well just click 'save'
but if it's html file. choose 'all files' in 'save as type' box and then change the extension from 'html' to 'srt' then click 'save'

that should work.

hmm I never had this kind of problem with subtitles before.. can someone please tell me how to fix it?

I tried changing the extension, tried loading the subtitles with video player, tried renaming the files (yes they are the same) - but it still doesn't work. What should I do?

i added another file, encoded with UTF-8 instead of mac roman...does that help? i tried opening the original in a text editor, and it seemed to display fine opened as UTF-8 or ISO Latin 1, so...anyways give it a shot?
