i havn't seen alot of the korean dramas..
But so as the most SADDEST KOREAN drama so far is : Save The Last Dance For Me ..

i like it alot ! yet i feel sad when i remember it Crying

i have not seen the previously mentioned dramas and movies, but which was very very sad to me was the Crazy for you. i have cried a lot at the beginning and i think there were not any funny scenes.

i haven't seen that many Kdramas, but i think that Stairway to Heaven was just soo depressing... I cried and cried and cried Crying

the saddest would be Stairway to heaven. i cried in every episode i thinked. and i'm sorry i love you is like the korean version of romeo and juliet. some of my friend think winter sonata and autumn in my heart were the saddest korean drama. but it's up to you.

A lot of male friends told me that they rarely cry while watching movies and dramas but that they did during "Sorry I Love You".

I'm not emotional robotic, but I laughed while watching the "notebook" in the theater. I have no patience for sad k-dramas or any sentimental movies or shows. I hated watching autumn in my heart. Seriously, I just wanted to kill someone when I watched that drama. If it's sad and it ends poorly, I can't tolerate that ****.

Hard to say which one is the saddest because there are a lot of melodramatic elements in a korean drama combined with the usual plot of having one or more of the characters meet an untimely death due to an accident or an incurable disease. But here's my shortlist:

1. Autumn Tale
2. Sorry, I Love You
3. It Happened in Bali or Memories in Bali (not so sure if you can consider this sad as it is tragic)
