I wish. No, there is very little deterioration of the tape. The original recording was made off-the-air (uhf) with poor signal quality. So video is washed out and subrip's OCR tool has a very hard time recognizing characters. I may have more luck just transcribing the english subs. Maybe I should wait until I retire in 2013.
