IMO, Calvin is only there because he has a great singing voice. From their MV's, I noticed that Calvin was almost always the first to sing. Aaron and Jiro both have Ok voices, they`re workable. But Wu Zun is strictly for looks. His chinese isn`t perfect, and his singing isn`t that great. But he is one nice looking man, I tell ya. Laugh

I like Fahrenheit because of Jiro & Chun but after buying their first album I must say, Jiro and Chun have to improve a lot. Jiro has a nice voice but he needs a lot of more practice, Chun better try to get a teacher.
It was a nice debut album with catchy sounds and when you are thinking that the group is really new founded (not like 183club who needed over one year to be relasing a first album and have two very greast singers), it is a good start. I really hope they will learn a lot in future.

I voted for Chun because I like his character and look the most. I think Fahrenheit will do a lot for him beeing known well and his wish to become a movie actor.

The only thing that kind of bothers me about Zun is his Chinese. I know he was born in Brunei and like lived in Australia and stuff, but his Chinese just bothers me (I can`t help it >_<;; ). He really needs a singing and speech coach. But he is trying his very best, and no one ever got hurt trying, eh? Tongue

And a random fact:
I was at the same basketball game he went to when he was in America (some years ago). I was watching this variety show with Fahrenheit in it and Wu Zun said that he met Michael Jordan in person when he was in the US because went to Jordan's last game (Lakers vs. Wizards). And my heart just dropped because I WAS AT THE SAME GAME!!!!!!!!!! Shocked

..... along with like hundreds of thousands of other people. If only Wu Zun was discovered back then... Hissy fit

I finally decided to vote for Jiro. Because he is just too cute and hilarious in both ISWAK and Hana Kimi. Smile

I don't speak Mandarin yet (will start to learn in autum cheers

) and so his language skills don't bother me.
But I think you shouldn't be upset about his skills when you don't know he don't like to be called Zun, his name ist Chun ;).

He is a great admire of Michael Jordan but who isn't. Even when I'm not into Basketball, seeing Michael Jordan "fly" is Wub

Most people are picky because of her name. I get angry when people don't call my name in the right way even when they aren't native language speakers...at least they can try.
So I doing it the same way with others.

, but

to be honest his acting is a bit wooden - maybe it's because like u guys said he's new, or it could be the role he's given, etc...
in any case, wanted to say that i find absolutely nothing wrong with his so-called "accent". I'v never gone to Brunei, or really paid attention to how mandarin is spoken in Malaysia, but the way he pronounces his words sounds kinda like the way (some) S'poreans who(, such as I,) do not accurately follow the China/TW pronunciation. Even our English doesn't sound much like english unless we curtail a lot of the strong singlish accent(in fact, try speaking in Singlish in London and see if anyone on the tube understands what you're saying..lol)... so i think it's just a product of our mixed malay/nonya/indian/mandarin/hokkien/canto culture/language.
My friends (a lot of whom are from TW) used to tease me abt my "funny" Sg accent when i first migrated, and over the years, with the only mandarin i ever spoke/listened to was the TW "version", Tongue

i'm sad to say i've lost most of it.

Being different is not bad. It's unique.

The famous Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit to shoot their latest drama film in Brunei, starting from May 2007.

Fahrenheit member Wu Zun, who was also born in the Sultanate and is currently one of Taiwan's hottest stars, and Mr Ken of Comic Productions Co Ltd have confirmed the rumour. They have already surveyed several locations.

According to Mr Ken, " A lot of people in the Asia Pacific don't really know about Brunei, and with the drama series to be filmed here,it would gain exposure to millions of audiences worldwide."

"It is a fact that the Taiwanese drama series have been immensely popular, not only among the Chinese community, but also other ethnic groups. This may turn out to be the thing that Brunei needs to promote its tourism industry."

He said that they have surveyed the Water Village as well as Empire Hotel and Country Club, among others, but still have to search for a mansion to shoot around.He added that the drama would revolve around all four members of Fahrenheit, together with a number of invited Taiwanese stars who are still under negotiations to be in the film.

Wu Zun, the popular artiste and film star who made it big in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries, was recently named 2006's Taiwan Up and Coming Star at the Sprite Awards.

Fahrenheit, meanwhile, was also voted the Best Group in Taiwan for 2006. Wu Zun's stints in successful film series include "Tokyo Juliet" and "Hanakimi" with Ella of SHE - one of Taiwan's popular girl groups.

"In order to make filming of the first ever Taiwanese drama series in Brunei possible, we would need support from the proper and relevant government agencies, as well as the local community," said Wu Zun. The proposed project would also ideally coincide with Visit Brunei Darussalam Year 2008.
