omg this series is hilarious. I saw a few eps on AZN back during the summer.

If only I could stand their extremely limited stock of commercials (seriously, they run like 3 commercials repeatedly when they show drama), maybe I'd watch more often...

"Wo lai ye" (2001) Also known as "Heroes in Black"
This comedic period drama is about the tales and exploits of Nanxing Li, a loafer by day and a hero (in black) by night. Hongkong actor Bobby Au-yeung is the goofy but righteous magistrate, while his mother Pei-pei Cheng is a stern disciplinarian. But perhaps the greatest breakthrough is Fann Wong as a loud restaurant owner with a reputation for being fierce and shrewish.

Ep 7 has a patch of black and otherwise badness. Around 28:35, gets worse at 28:40 and continues until 28:57. Thankfully, there isn't any important (or any) dialogue during that, I believe.

Also in an earlier episode, there's a hilarious flub in the subs. Someone said "我的媽" (wo de ma; "My Mother!", later got subbed as "Mama Mia!"), and it got subbed as "wouldn't this sound strange in a period drama" (the reason being, I believe, that the "ma" for "mom" is more often said as 娘 or "niang" in period dramas... interesting note I think).

this is one great and funny series but the ending is kinda left thinking. the herion is unmarried and her sis is married and have j=kids aready and she's haveing a hard time deciding who to married. Wish they make a movie to tell who she decided lol good storyand show but weird/strange ending
