i used to watch kimura's old dramas but that's about it.

what did you think about lee hom and rain singing together? I really liked it! Rain's voice is beautiful! I wished he sung more lovesongs...i dont like his justin-timberlake-pop-style songs because i'm not very fan of these kind of pop, but i love when he sings songs in the style of "i do" and "escaping from the sun". I hope lee hom and rain do another duet again (and appear on the MV with Lee hom)

she looked pretty normal in the MV.. but i think with abit of make-up and the right clothes she'd look alot better Laugh

i remember reading an article where a reporter popped leehom the question: "is it true that the girl in LRB mv is your ex-gf?" and i think it caught him by surprise and he said something like you guys are amazing to be able to dig that up. and he said that when they were filming the mv, they couldn't find a female lead at the last moment and so he roped in his ex-gf who just joined in with no special clothes or makeup.. just her natural self. and he also said he was young and naive at that time which was why he roped in his ex-gf to film his mv.. and that now if he has a gf.. he wouldn't do such a thing again. some screenshots of the mv:

just checked one of her MVs, her voice is really cool! And i just read she added some capoeira (a mix of fight and dance from my city) movements on her presentations. that's really nice of her. Is it true that she really is from some tribe in china?

Those type of flip flops are famous in brazil. gisele's ipanese were based on a traditional flip flop called "havaianas" and they're super comfortable. I have a black one! Tongue

i'm in singapore Smile

i've seen an entire store selling havaianas here in all sorts of designs.. but i feel they aren't as soft as the Ipanema flip flops... the Ipanema ones are relatively new here and are found in some major sports stores. i wish they brought in more designs and colors though.. there isn't really much of a range to choose from unlike the havaianas. i hope it starts gaining mass popularity so they'll bring in more!

About the polemic of that song being a copy or not...well, it's really similiar to "no doubt"'s song BUT Lee hom would never copy some other artist work. He has enough talent and creativity, he doesnt need to do that. And I really doubt that he listen to "no doubt". Laugh

Here there are havaianas stores too but normally they sell stuff much more expensive than on normal stores...so we buy ours on supermarkets or big stores that sell everything. Smile

Ipanema ones have less variety than havaianas but now it's growing the number of styles of it. have you heard about the "grendha"? If i'm not mistaken, "ipanema" is from "grendha", they're like havainas. Smile

I like both because i really like using flip flops, they're more comfortable than tennis and it suits the climate of brazil! Tongue

Ahhh here are some updates about Lee hom's upcoming album:

Other notes:

- He completed the album cover photoshoot on May 18-21, 2007 in Shanghai.
- Next week he will fly to the states to finish the production of his new album.
- In two weeks he will begin filming his new MV in LA.

It is still unclear about what new style Leehom is testing on this time, but most likely it will have a "Lust, Caution" to a "pre-modern" culture influence.
