Hey Guys,
I managed to get to download some old dramas of F4 (taiwanese pop band)
and I really wanna watch and understand them, so I hope for some support and help with this project....
I'm currently downloading:
Love Scar (烈愛傷痕); starring Jerry Yan, Karen Mok [Click Me for more infos]

I know that some group is doing Love Storm (I want to say DoReMii, but I'm not sure on that). I watched Come to My Place, and it was pretty bad. The only reason they really filmed that was because F4 was so popular.
If you like Xi Men, make sure you watch Peach Girl.  I love that show.
I wanted to watch Poor Prince Taro, but I couldn't find the raws anywhere. So if you ever decide to upload it to the tracker, I would appreciate it.

Then it's one drama less in my subbing list... HEHE... still a lot to go! I heard that it was bad but I still wanna watch it since I've almost finished downloading it

haha. Yes, that's who I meant. lol.
it's really easy to upload a torrent on the site. It just takes a while for your first torrent to get approved. So go ahead and load them. (Bet you can't tell who's anxious to leech off of you.  )
So, in an effort to appease my conscience, if you need any help with Poor Prince Taro, let me know. I'm kind of swamped at the moment, but I can always do spot translations.  And encoding (if I have the raw, hint hint) And I'll have more time in a month or so if you want more help then.

There are so many more dramas starring one of the members of F4 (though not nescessarily as the main chracter)
For example
101st proposal TW version starring Jerry Yan.
Sunflower starring Ken Zhu
City of Sky starring Ken Zhu (and Rainie Yang)
Silence starring Vic Zhou
Say Yes Enterprise starring Vanness Wu (Hebe, Mike He, Da S, Xiao S, Qiu Ze etc)
You have a lot of work to do if you want to sub them all.
I have the VCDs of Sunflower, Peach Girl, Come to my place, Poor Prince Taro and Love Storm.
However Come to my place and Poor Prince Taro have already been ul to d-addicts and Love storm and Peach girl even have English subs (though I heard the subs fore Love storm are Engrish) so I saw no need to ul these files (with my crappy ul rate)
hmmm... maybe if there is enough demand I ul some raws up to our CB one day. If you decide to sub a drama I own and you can't find a better quality raw than mine I am willing to help you out.
Wish you luck with your project. Always good to see a new TW drama to be subbed as the TW subbing community is still pretty small compared to the Japanese or Korean community.

Wow gixo, I'm really impressed of you, seems like you're also a big F4 fan since you have a large vcd collection of them, I only got the whole Meteor Garden drama on vcd.
Is it to much to ask if you could upload Kens drama 'Sunflower' to d-addicts? I wasn't able to find this anywhere and since you got a good raw quality.... I beg you
mmh... I guess you're right, still a long way to go and I really need some more people who are willing to help me

haha, I am not such a big fan of F4 as you assume. I like them but I like TW dramas in general and have a lot more dramas (without F4). However some years ago the more interesting dramas all starred one of the members of F4. So I got some of these dramas together with a bunch of other dramas.
hmmm... actually the "Sunflower" raws haven't such a good quality as one have expected since it's the official release. I think it wasn't such a popular drama and pretty cheap compared to other productions so the quality isn't that great.
As I said I am willing to help out with raws for a subbing project but I won't ul a drama which might never get subbed at all and has so many eps as I have a really bad ul rate. I would like to focus my ressources on dramas which will actually get subbed. I hope you understand my reasons.

Hehe...I also like TW-dramas in general, don't know why?! I really envy you for getting to buy so many dramas, I'm not really able to do so....

Mmh... seems so! I also want to watch Love Storm, I got the RAWs but haven't watched those yet, I hope the qualy is watchable!

2=> Meteor Garden I/II
3=> Marmalade Boy
I really can't decide which drama should be my third choice... so I just chose Marmalade Boy because of my favorite Ken Zhu and also the female lead was very cute

I didnt knew Ken was on Marmalade Boy?! nice to know that!
I dont speak mandarin...but i have very basic skills in creating subtitles and i know how to hardsub...
is there a way i can help? if so...tell me , i would like to help. |
This drama was quite nice, you should watch it if you like ken ^^
I also don't speak mandarin and it takes me hours to translate phrases but it's quite fun...
Sure there's a way you can help!!! I'm so glad that you're actually willing to help, we need all the help we can get! Maybe you can help encoding the dramas or quality checking.... maybe timing too? just tell me what you want to do!
