| i know this is off topic but i feel tat i can get some answer in here... in yesasia there are two version to ROCH.. 1. condor hero (end) (english subtitle) (chian version) 2.condor hero (end) (english subtitle) (US version) so is one supposed to have a better subtitle then the other or is it the same where both have bad grammer and spelling mistake..

| The US version released by taiseng is currently on pre-order. No one can confirm how good the english sub is.. at least for now. I'm sure some members here will probably buy the dvd box set. We can wait for them to review it.

looking at the specs for the taiseng version, there are already differences between it and the mainland version:
1. cantonese audio will be included
2. video quality will be the same as the previous taiseng version since it will be 8 DVD
3. there will be bookmarks included
4. box cover looks different
i'm still debating on if i want to pick this new version up or not
hehehee

I feel the same way. Just based on the number of discs, I don't think video quality will be improved. Although it is very possible to have a crisp video with only 8 discs.
I will wait for people's review before deciding anything.

I have Mac and i use "MPlayer OS X 2" to play soft subs... it works beautifully... you just have to highlight the avi and sub file and drag it into the player and it plays it... |
Thanks for the tip. I in fact do have MPplayer but never tried it w/ soft subs.
Plus, I do prefer being able to burn stuff to DVD to comfortably watch it on TV instead of on the computer.
