LOLsss... Crystal Liu Yi Fei never become a Japanese... It is common already for Asian artist to show their talent in other language and other Asian country.
Example like : Takeshi Kaneshiro (JAPANESE) act in chinese movie, Faye Wong (CHINESE) sing English song really well, Rain (KOREAN) he can speak Japanese really well, Jackie Chan (CHINESE) act in Hollywood film and as a very talented director.
still remember when Jackie Chan came to Malaysia for Police Story filming.... whoaaa, he jump from a fast moving trailer into moving helicopter without wearing any safety gear, he really dare to die...

THE CHINESE SYMBOL FOR TAOISM
If I remember correctly, think the main difference is that Taoist prays to Gods (ie: God of earth, God of Heaven, God of Hell, Monkey God etc etc) whereas Monks are buddhists.... ie: they pray to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin, Shakyamuni etc etc
But sometimes some of the gods they pray to overlap as well
