lol well I had fun spamming the bastard haha. I reported it once.. sorry I couldn't do more.
What's really stupid is that why buy it when you could just buy it for free y'know? What an ass. _________________ Happiness is not so much in having as sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give - Norman Macewan

Wow, that was a really great ep...I think the most impressive one so far. Definitely one of the best "I'M NOT WRONG!!!" scenes I've seen (and I think I've seen all of them...), and the best performance so far by the Yang Guo actor's. Extra bonus points to the director for sensitive rendering of Huanrg Rong's attention to her husband's pain, andeven more importantly, putting extra thought in setting up Xiaolongnu's side of the story for what comes of in many versions as random.
That said, I have to agree that I don't much like the fight scenes in this series. Too much SFX that's not done well and too little actual fighting. Maybe I'm just old school, btu 1983 version's choreaography is a lot more satisfying that all the Matrix-whooshing and freeze framing. Someone said that the new fight against Jinlun is based on the 3rd revision of the book? Is that the newest one that Jin Yong is doing right now? I havre't read any of the newest versions yet, but how did he change that scene?

OMG! Found this at last. I SO dig this drama series. I've watched the 1998 version with Richie Ren and Ng Sin Lin (I think). I was so taken in by the story of true love that survive so many hardhips between Yang Guo and Xia Long Nu, I decided to read the story too. All I have to say is I wish more of the book were integrated into that 1998 version.
Now, seeing that the 2006 version is actually more true to the book( this observation is made after missing a couple of the earlier episodes. I hope they stay true to the book until the end! *crosses fingers*), I'm in HEAVEN. Ahhh, seing all those impossible fight scenes finally translated onto the screen, albeit using CGI effects. But, beggars can't be choosers, right?!!
Thank you SO MUCH!!!! ;p

aahmad, the Taiwanese version with richie ren is probably the version most different from the book. lots of missing and changed characters. there is also a 1983 and 1993 tvb hk versions, a 1998 singaporean version, and the current 2006 version. the 1983 version (andy lau) also has a number of deviations from the book, but it is much loved classic with great chemistry between the actors. the others tend to be somewhat closer to the novel. as for this version, the beginning has some deviations from the novel as well, but this last episode shaped up pretty darn well, i'd say. its better if the director does an interesting and thoughful interpretation of the characters than stick rigidly and unimaginatively to the story. that said, i have reservations about making dramatic chagnes that are disrespectful to the author and the story (like making cheng ying a bandit).

i actually wasnt referring to the last ending fight with jinlun, i was wondering if jin yong had revised the fight scene in this ep 12 against jinlun when yang guo and xiaolongnu discover the quanzhen + yunu swords to make xiaolongnu fight long distance rather than normally.
