Go back to episode 9 and you hear Yang Guo saying that its been 10 years since peach blossom island and when he went to Chong Yang Gong. He couldn't have stayed at Peach Blossom island for more than a year, and he only stayed at Chong Yang Gong for half a year. That makes it about 8 or 9 years he stayed with XLN. And she was 18 when he first came to Chong Yang Gong.
I like this version way better than the past versions...it builds more emphisis on YG and XLN relationship...Doesn't matter how many Carmen Lee's you put on the stage, 10 of them don't compare to one Liu Yi Fei. And I also think Fann Wong is wayyyy better than Carmen Lee anyways. Episode 5 put a big emphisis on what they're relationship is all about, he was gonna die for her...all the past versions, YG just said that he would die for her...and they didn't really build their relationship up good enough to believe he would actually die for her.

are you sure he said 10 years since he lived with XLN? base on the story, he should be around 13-15 when he meet XLN, so he would be 23, and she's 28? I dont think so, thats a bit too old..
I disagree that in past versions, they didnt build their relationship good enough.. even though I havent seen 1983 one, I saw the 1995 one a few times.. and everytime, I truely believe that YG would die a million times for XLN.. yes, they didnt show them kissin or doin anythin that you would expect couples to do, but that's just to show the purity of their relationship, that it's love... i dont see anythin thus far that support this YG show more love for XLN than the past ones... I like LYF more than CL though, she's much prettier.. I would prefer Louis over this YG though, I like how he portray YG
anyone else think some part in this movie are so corny? such as.. in the very first scene, the dancin of that evil lady (forgot her name).. and when XLN and YG practice martial arts, they were like holdin each other, look like dancin.. and soon, YG's big giant sword, it dont look good..
but overall, i really like this movies.. they change around some stuffs, so some stuffs isnt so easily predicted... cant wait for the new episode, been waitin

They spent thier lives in the tomb making babies duh havne't you seen dragon sabre heavenly sword... their daughter was at the end of the series i think..

If that's the case, so they left the tomb after 1243 if we used wikipedia's. All the events happen before they get married would only be less than 4 months. Okay something just not seem right.

Did you read my post?...i put supported evidence for my claim that YG spent about 8 or 9 years with XLN...go check out episode 9!!! I'm not saying that the book is suppose to be that way...this is the series, and the director has the right to do what he wants with the story to make it seem better...and I like it this way.
Like I said before...in the past versions, YG just said that he would die for XLN, they didn't really show anything that touching that makes it seem he really would. didn't you guys watch episode 5...he was biting the grass so XLN couldn't turn the tree over and instead he would drown...thats action speaks louder than words.

I have never watched it but umm....do you get to see YG or XLN at all in that movie ir is there any scenes with the original cast of ROCH or LOCH
or references to them? or is it a completely new thing.

that just to prove my point that they didnt spend in the tomb 9 years like vancoland has said.. in wiki, it say he's around 15 when he meet w/ XLN.. probably left when he's 18.. so around 3 years.. c'mon he couldnt spent 9 years in there and that is all the martial art he has learn.. XLN said since he sleep on the jade ice bed or watever, 1 year is like 10 years... so if he spent 9 years in there.. his martial art is equivalent to someone thats spent 90 years practicin? anyone else can confirm that he said 9 years since he lived with XLN? I dont have the eps right now.. and I dont want to download it again just to see wat he said..

I saw it.. but I dont think that it's their daughter.. I had a feelin that it was XLN herself.. bc it was said in there that she's the Condor Hero's wife.. I dont kno how that's possible, bc she should be really old and died off.. maybe she doesnt age or somethin, given that she doesnt seem to age at all in ROCH

thx for 2nd ep, i am really hoping Yang Guo grows up in the next few eps, his child stage is verry irritating! i would have slapped him too with that attitude >_<
