Do you the latest xvid codec installed? Also what program are you using to play the video? Try using vlc player(videolan) or media player classic.

Yeah i think it would be great to cut out the beginning intro and ending to make the file smaller and less work

You can get the latest xvid codec via this link, http://downloads.xvid.org/downloads/xvidcore-1.1.0.zip
You can determine if you're missing a codec or not for any .avi format video using gspot,

I think they're redoing too many already redone stories, actually. How about serializing other people's original wuxia stories? Producers need to be brave and dare to share some new authors' adventures with the public because I know I'll give them a try. They should branch out from the classics more, cuz this great genre's going to get stale fast if they keep circling around the same stories over and over.
