This sure is the most unusual series by far this season and to me the most interesting one of all, really loved it. Thank you for subbing this wonderfull series for us. Kurokawa Tomoka realy gives is the best in ep 10, that scene where she ran back to her room and Kimura Tae followed after her, man, they have the comera at her without cutting, how amazing is that and thats a 2 minutes long scene, she looks so natural. Didn't think a 17yrs old will be able to do such an emotional scene. Love it.

Well, after just under 7,000 lines of translated dialogue in all, I’ve finally completed the subtitling of ‘Teru Teru Ashita.’ You can find the English subtitles for the complete series, including the final episode, Episode 11, in my first post on the front page of this discussion.

Well, some good news and some bad.

First the bad news:

- That’s all there is for ‘Teru Teru Ashita.’ Teruyo and company now ride off into the sunset. Sad

- This is now the third series I’ve created subtitles for that has had some important cast member either dying or dead or both by the end. (‘Ai no Uta,’ ‘Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu,’ “Teru Teru Ashita.’) People here must think I’m a manic-depressive or something. If I ever sub anything again, maybe I should hold out for a comedy… Glare

Now for the good news:

- I’ve translated a portion of the latest ‘Producer’s Corner’ that can be found on the ‘Teru Teru Ashita’ Japanese language website. This was written by producer NAKAGOMI Takuya, and I thought some of the fans of this show might be interested in what he has to say:

すべてが終わってしまった今、なんとも言えない寂しさが漂っております・・・。

- The DVD set is scheduled to come out on October 10th, 2006 and is supposed to have additional scenes for nearly all of the episodes as well as behind-the-scenes programs as well. Be sure and preorder today! Amazon.jp has it on sale for only about 16,000yen!

- If you’re a big fan of leading actress KUROKAWA Tomoka, be sure and order her DVD, ‘Tomocolor’ at the same time. (And, no, I receive no remunerations for these ads, either… Sad

)

I have now placed all of the subtitle files into an easy-to-download zip file. I’ve made many updates to each of the subtitle sets over the last 3 months, so I wanted to make sure everyone downloaded the latest set. (It also makes an already unwieldy first post a bit more manageable.) I’ve left the PV on it’s own for those who may be downloading it for the song alone.

Over the next few weeks I hope to scrub out any lingering issues with these subs and update them one last time. I’ll place a note in this discussion notifying those of you who might still be interested when I do.

I am very happy I had the chance to work on the English language subtitles for ‘Teru Teru Ashita.’ It was an entertaining story, and one I’m sure I’ll be watching again and again in the future. Hopefully the subtitles I worked on will help at least a few of you find this wonderful show for yourself.

I still cant believe Teru Teru Ashita already ended Crying

.. my fav drama for this season ..
I really enjoyed watching this wonderful drama and again this is all thanks to you (& of course thanks to the uploader too Cool

The dramas you've completed are among my absolute favourites too. I'm looking forward to your next project!

Btw, has anyone seen the OST anywhere? I've been unable to find it at yesasia, cdjapan, hmv etc...
