How come you did the subtitles for chapters 1-4 and "jumped" to chapter 8? I ask just out of curiosity, because I have no complain about those I have seen. They are pretty good but, as you asked for some criticism to improve your subtitling skills, I'd advice you not to use brackets to simulate people who is thinking or voice in off or and use the more standard system of writing the dialogue in italics instead. Apart from that, there is little to say but to thank you for your hard and quite good job.

Oh, I find it interesting Smile Could you tell me how or perhaps somebody who know how to display italic text in srt script? I sometime see it in ssa script but I don't know whether it is possible in srt. What's the tag should I put there to make it italic? Blink

The 4th episode was great and the subs were perfect as usual !
Thank you really much kazuya Smile

ps - @daimag, i believe the srt tag is the same as in html, you should try this:
Code:
<i>Italics</i>

kazuya5661 Thanks so much for continuing! I just finished the first episode and laughed out loud several times,( the hair- ...observation for one example)

Thanks for sharing this one with us, you're doing a great job - from my own experience translating comedy is the most difficult, so I'm impressed.

Thanks for the comments everybody!

Paxti, yeah I should try to work out the italics thing. Actually, I did try it at first with the html-like italic markers, but for some reason it would italicize a whole line even when I only put it on part of the line. I don't know if this was just an error in the Sub program I use or what. I'll try it out again. Also, the reason episode 8 is out of order is because I did that one first just on a whim. Then since there was enough demand to subtitle the whole series, I decided to start from the beginning at episode 1.

Thanks for the interest and criticism. (^_-)v
