| Hmm... sounds like I'm ragging on scy. Not my intent, though I've had countless of those "non-avi" errors over the years, and nearly all were due to a mucked-up original torrent rather than a fake original file.

relax, lol, it's not like he burned down d-addicts...
there are just certain methods for doing things that have reasons behind them...
if one person uploads a series, it's usually a load they can handle, peer pools don't get split by accident and there's a continuity leechers can depend on...
everyone's eager to see the series as soon as possible, overeagerness just shouldn't screw up a working system...

Thank you that is the point I was trying to make.Others have brougt this up in the pass. But I probably went about the wrong way expressing myself.

Nope. Corrupt file, bad file, etc. would mean that. Fake files or dummy files generally reference files put up to intentionally make us little filesharers waste their bandwidth. The word fake refers to something that is put out knowing full-well that it is not a true item. This was not the case as I'm sure you know.

actually i did think it was fake cause I dled it off a different network (I didnt even use bittorrent) and still resulted in a bad file, which seemed to big a coincidence. So I was trying to warn juju in cause she also got the same fake file and didn't know about it.

Actually Paniolagirl, that is where I do remember you doing it the most (and a thing or two about spoilers here and there). Whining, bitching, moaning, etc. about when and how subs will appear is against the forum rules, and one of the things I get on people most about when they break them. When people do, I tend to characterize them as unappreciative complainers and treat them as such when I see them complaining elsewhere, ne? When I stop seeing the whining and start seeing more appropriate comments, I'll treat you nicer. (Don't know what else you've been saying lately, as you've blocked the post history in your profile. Most people who do that do so because they don't want other people seeing what they've been posting...)
@scy: I understood your intent, as dummy files appeared much more often for awhile on emule, kazaa, etc. and I'm guessing that jujugirl did as well. All the uploaders I know check their files before torrenting them, so I feel safe assuming she does as well.
(a PM to her would be probably more appropriate and there'd be a better chance she'd read it) (then you wouldn't have meanies like me getting on you about your word choices...  )
Heh, another book and I never thanked jujugirl for posting the eps...
