They might still be available via Creidesca's Clubbox account.
Loved this series BTW, thanks to all the subbers.

Hi Demonworldslayer,
Patience, patience....creidesca & blossom are subbing/timing, but creidesca at least is really busy this semester. With a load like she published in a post, I am just eternally thankful that we got any of these episodes. Ep 12 was just put up in Feb, so it's going to take a while.
(Creidesca, if you see this, I took the MCAT many years ago before I decided that that wasn't going to be my path. Luckily I realized my strengths and weaknesses before I started my first year med. Good luck, girl! We're cheering for you.)

| Please forgive me, but I cannot locate the download links to the raw TV series. The Clubox link in the first post of this thread leads to a page entirely in Korean, which I cannot understand. I would badly like to watch this series, as foreign drama intrigues me and "Flowers for Algernon" is my favorite book! Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi BlueLunarAngel,
Sorry for the delay in answering. It's spring break for us, so I was gone for a while.
There are no download links now for the Eng sub'ed video. (At least, there might be Clubbox links but those of us who can't read Korean, etc. are out of luck figuring out how to get them)
You'll have to bit-torrent the avi files down. I'm currently doing that, and on many episodes we are currently stalled. I have successfully gotten down episodes 9-10 and 15-16, but the rest of the pairs are either still dribbling in or completely stalled. I've been asking for seeds, but we haven't gotten a seeder yet.
Now, once you get the avi files, you will have to get the srt files that are here in this Subtitle Index area. Then you have to merge the two files to get a burnable hard-sub DVD. This is worth the effort, by the way.
I have to say that this series is by far one of my favorites. It's "Flowers for Algernon" done the way that it should have been done from the start. The "Hello God" part of the title is referring to the fact that the doctor is 'playing God' with Haru and doesn't really see him as a person until his intelligence improves. The series is awesome.
There were some hard-subbed episodes on YouTube, but they were yanked off last week some time. It got you through to episode 5. I actually then took the chinese hard-subbed episodes and the subtitle files that I found here and was reading the subtitle files in a window next to the episode (yes, I'm that desperate. Please someone have pity on us and seed these episodes). If we keep asking, someone will eventually have pity on us and seed the avi torrents. I actually bought the box set of the English subtitled episodes, but ye gods, the translation there is completely unintelligible. The fans that are creating the subtitle files here are amazing.
If I can get episode 13's translation later, I'll try just doing the hard subs myself. But you need both the srt (subtitle file) and the avi that the srt was created from to get a pair that you can merge together to burn to a hard-sub copy. When the avi and srt are separate, it's called a 'soft sub'. I would have to re-do the timing that creiceda [sic] has so generously done. (Have you seen her schedule? Gee whiz! That girl is BUSY)
The newer version of BitTorrent allows you to pull multiple files and seed with multiple files. It's very nice.
Other things you might like: Hana Yori Dango which is now in season 2. The first season is 9 episodes long, and is available in a really excellent hard sub in the torrents area (SARS is the group that sub'ed it). The second season is available right now with straight downloads, but try to see the first season first. That's a Japanese drama based on a Manga about the only poor student who attends the most exclusive high school in Japan. It's highly entertaining.
The second thing is one that I'm currently pulling down, Full House. I haven't actually seen that one yet, but my friends rave about it. So, I'm about 70% of the way to pulling down the 11 Gb file with all of the episodes in high quality Eng hard sub.
Good luck.

Thank you very much, dragonpoetry! Wow. I saw your other post about the boxed DVD's.
Here's a little update since last I posted. I noticed the torrents were stalled (a sad thing), so I went and tried out the boxed DVD's. The subs on them were intelligible, but definitely mediocre in the mildly annoying sense. LIke you, I would much prefer to view the series in a well-put-together form, rather than just a "as long as we get the idea" sense. Which boxset did you purchase? Mine's got a pink-ish cover.
Anywho, I've been trying to take the video files off the DVD's so I could use the KBS World fansubs from here with them, but... As you no doubt have encountered as well, I'm having the gosh danged hardest time figuring that out. I use VLC Media Player, and nothing I've tried has gotten the video and the subs to play together. The video plays, but the subs don't show up. I'm still trying to figure out if I could make this work. Want.. to.. watch.. badly...
Also, thank you for suggesting that Japanese series! I shall definitely keep it in mind. Hope to hear how you (and anyone else out there!) are doing with this soon. I'm on spring break too, so I understand.

hi there if you want to watch the videos fr your dvd with the subs fr. here you will need dvd decrypter... you can download it fr the net, its a free ware, after you have downloaded and installed your dvd decrypter you will place your dvd in your dvd rom and then make sure that the split files into options in one of the options is set to none so that you'd have only one video file, this process will take sometime...
after dvd decrypter produced your one video file. you will need auto gordian knot to encode it into a 700 MB or less video file, this software is also a free ware and is very user friendly you'd be able to use without trouble, again this process will take sometime...
after auto gordian knot you'd now be able to watch the video fr. your boxset with the subs here..
may i also suggest you use media player classic in watching the video and subs since it has most of the codecs needed to be able to watch the video with subs.. you can search for a klite codec pack its also a free ware
hope this helps...

^ when it's ready : please be courteous and refrain from asking about subs. i know it's just out of curiosity, but really if you think about it, it will be released when it's ready.
