Well, I know there are the earlier episodes, before ep 10 on youtube, otherwise, you can only find softsubs here hee... Unless someone is nice enough to upload themselves. But, it's best if people don't upload using the fansubbers' softsubs!

No offence, but you guys/gals just need to be patient, kylagurl is entitled to have a life outside of fansubbing, practically all subbing projects go through periods where the subber(s) release lots of eps like mad in a short amount of time (which, if you'll recall, this project had one of those periods not too long ago).
This is usually followed by a sloooow period where things can seem kinda dead for a while because the subber(s) simply need a break to enjoy other things in their life... or because of school/exams or work or family or other life issues that come up... (this would, obviously be the period we're in now).
But I doubt she's given up on this project, I know the wait can be hard (remember, I'm right here with ya checking for updates) but a little understanding goes a looooong way in keeping the subber(s) morale up so they continue to enjoy working on their subbing project(s).
So just keep checking and if you feel the need to post something here, try to make it encouraging instead of just complaints, they won't get new episodes out faster and fact, some subber(s) even delay their releases if too many people complain (not that I'm saying or implying that's what this particular case is of course).
And to kylagurl, keep up the excellent work, I and many others are looking forward to watching the rest of this great drama with subs.

Omigush, that was such a fantastic post! THANKS! It's like you were my spokesperson, publicly announcing my exact situation. Yes, indeed, I was mad previously, just subbed whenever I had time on my hands. It was during my exams and the 5 wks break after that. I was deprived of subbing with all that studying. Just wanted an escape. Moreover, the more I watch TWFX, the more I'm hooked. So I can't stop.
Now, I'm sad to say subbing has reached a hiatus but I cannot slack in my studies anymore. The past week has been crazy, I rushed my reports, once even til 7am, did my readings, I didn't play my favourite SIMS 2 for 5 days - that's a loong time!
Yea, I'D NEVER WANT TO GIVE UP THIS PROJECT! My plan is to finish it before I leave for USA on 5th May ahha. I'm so honoured that your first post is dedicated to being my spokesperson hee.  It's less crazy now. I'm back to subbing episode 27. Moreover, fionafan79 is helping me sub ep 30. I have got ep 29 subs from mygirlmikkey. So maybe, the future releases will be faster! I'm just saying MAYBE, not definite. I don't want to make promises in case people are disappointed. I'd rather people get surprised by unexpected surprises!

how do i run the files that i have downloaded cause i have no idea how to use them.
i don't really know the meaning of those .srt files
please educate me i really wanna watch it especially episode 16 and up.

The .srt files are simply text files that video players load with the actual video file to show subtitles, these are not the video files themselves; those need to be downloaded from the tracker here at d-addicts.
Just go to the ¨torrent¨ tab at the top of the site and from there you´ll see a list of recent torrents as well as a search box, use the search box to find the tian wai fei xian torrent, if there is more then one, you want the DVD version which has 39 episodes.
Download the .torrent file and load it into a a Bittorrent client, I reccomend utorrent (use google to find a download for it), which gives you the option to download the episodes one at a time instead of all at once and it´s lightweight as well.
After you get the video file(s) downloaded you need a video player that can play video files in .rmvb format as well as .srt subtitle files, so download the Real Player Alternative (again, use google to find it), which lets media players play .rmvb files it usually includes Media Player Classic which is what you´ll probably wanna use to watch the videos with.
Once you have everything downloaded, you can either put the subtitles in the same folder and rename them to match the names of the video files (use copy/paste if you can´t/don´t know how to type in chinese) which lets MPC load the subtitles automatically when you play the video or when the video starts playing you can drag and drop the .srt file onto the video screen to get it working.
I hope you get it working, I know it can be time consuming to download all these different things but it´s really not that hard and when you get to watch all the lovely dramas after everything´s set up, it´s well worth it ;)

And to kylagurl, there´s no need to thank me for speaking out for you, I just figured that was what was going on and decided to say so... honestly, YOU´RE the one who should be thanked for working so hard on this drama, all I´m doing is ghosting here on the d-addicts web forum and watching dramas where ever I can get my hands on them, I´m only just starting to learn Mandarin and have no idea how to do any of the stuff you subbers do, so speaking out for you and thanking you is the only thing I can do to help ^^;;
