Anyhow I found this site & jdorama forum while searching info for the cute in my avatar. I was so surprised to see that there are devoted people who translate japanese serials (thanks to all fansubers). First drama that I watched was Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003, it got me hooked up and still remains one of my favorite ones. Other that I liked are GTO, Gokusen, Trick, Densha Otoko and of course dramas with Aya Ueto starring.

@VioletUK: What about you? Where are you, in Russia, UK or somewhere else?

p.s I apologize for writing in english, learned russian waaay back in elementary school. I can still read, but can't write Unsure

I have no problems with writing english and i have no idea what u you were trying to say in russian lol. Anyways, I got hooked up on dramas when i first saw prince's first love on international channel in 2005. My favorite drama is My girl though beacuse its so touching and funny.
So far i've watched full house, my girl, gokusen, a love to kill and Prince's first love. Korean dramas are my favorite, i don't think though that korean ppl act anything like that in real life Sad

I will be sure to watch those dramas you listed thumright

Haha, the begining of my previous post was written in bulgarian, sorry. They may look the same but are pretty diferent languages with russian. Basically I was commenting that here aren't many russians willing to write in forum.
I haven't watched any korean dramas yet. I usually pick dramas after lurking around this forum and jdorama forum, looking which series is compled and so. About this dramas that I mentioned - GTO is classic when it comes to teacher-school type dramas, it's on top position in jdorama forum. KKK'03 again is teacher-student type, it is kind of heavy for watching, much sadness, nevertheless I value it high. Densha Otoko is nice and original love story, but it demands a great mental efford (at least for me) to overcome slobbering of main character. Trick is fun to watch, Nakama and Abe are playing dedectives, who expose fake spiritualists...

KKK teacher? lol Mr. Green

I dont like the detective dramas but teacher school type is ok, i've heard a lot about about GTO, but there always arnt enough seeders. And most of the korean dramas are about a rich guy and a poor girl falling in love. I wonder why cant they come up with something diffrent, but anyway, its stll fun to watch.
Yea our languages look very similar, and i think many Russians are willing to write in forum but they just dont have a computer lol.

Vprochem, ya v osnovnom smotryu yaponskiye i zdes' u menya bolshe opyta. Naprimer, segodnya zakonchil smotret' "Taiyou no Kisetsu", i etot serial menya prosto ubil. Inogda khochetsya primenit' fizicheskoye nasiliye Crazy

ja predpo4itaju drami gde krasiwie glawnie geroi ^^. tak i smotretj interesnee, no kone4no istorija toshe dolshna bytj horoshei. Poetomu mne trudno naiti to 4to ja hotela by posmotretj. To naidu krasiwih geroew a drama ne o4en' nu i naobarot.

Была приятно удивлена что здесь есть говорящие на русском ^_^ Если честно то я сравнительно недавно начала смотреть корейские и японские драмы. Now i'm hooked!

Nadil, Не знаю про главных героев...вкусы у всех разные, а вот storywise я бы ещё порекомендовала (besides those ones recommended by VioletUK):

Nobuta wo produce - J-Dorama
Delightful Girl Choong Hyang - K-Drama
Green Rose - K-Drama - the lead in there is very cute ^_^ and the drama is good as well, though a bit stretched out.
