I'm downloading the Rondo batch files, it has 11 episodes but the soft subs are grouped as 1, 2-3,4-5,6-7,8-9,10-11 so I have 11 avi files but only 6 subtitle files. I've never come across this before and I'm wondering how I can watch this? http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_28079_60.htm#42785 (this is where I Downloaded the subtitles) Is there anywhere to download the subtitles episode per episode?

I looked at the FAQ but couldn't find anything like this. Thanks for any help.

the answer is in the rondo subtitle thread, read some pages more of the thread you've given the link of. The single subtitles should be there somewhere! Ganbatte!

Thanks for the reply and I've read the entire thread twice now, I have individual sub files for episodes 1,8,9,10,and 11 but the others have eluded these old eyes. any help or link to individual files for episodes 2-7 Thanks

o.o you're right... looks like I can't help you there. Seems like nobody cared to make softsubs of these, because there are quite excellent hardsubs for Rondo 1-7 by asabou... But maybe I'm wrong?
..... you could cut the engrish subs into two pieces, if you have some spare time. For softsub editing you can use Subtitle Workshop by URUsoft or SubStation Alpha (for .ssa) or thea plain editor.
I havn't seen this subtitle files, but it should be enough to cut the the .srt after the first episode and then adjust the starting point for the second episode, ne? Ganbatte! This old lady has to go to bed now Smile

Not sure about the decision to batch the raws instead of the subbed 1-7 and the softsubbed remainder, but your only choice seems to be to download the subbed eps for 1-7 individually and the 8-11 ones from the batch. The engrish ones don't match up without editing, and I believe that the names, etc. are different (Chinese vs. Korean).

Guess this is one of the unlucky ones where a decision had to be made for consistency...

Thanks a lot aNToK, do you know if episode 2 will play ok with subtitle file 2-3? if that's the case only 3,5, and 7 hardsubs would need to be downloaded. I posted this in the batch thread to give people a heads up before they download the entire batch and find they can't watch some of it.

Actually I just checked episode 2 and the timing is off with the combined 2-3 sub file

I just started watching ep2 from the raw batch and notice this.

In the combined subs, you'll notice that before theme song plays, everything seems to sync okay. I'm guessing that since Kai Lien's subs are from the DVD, the DVD version doesn't play the theme song?

So I just delayed the subs after that part and it seems okay.

Here is the ep2 sub if anyone want to try.
