[Nostalgic Fansubs] Our first project - Vote!

I am pleased to annouce our fansub group, Nostalgic Fansubs. I have been planning to start a group for a while but I waited till we had at least two translators before announcing anything. We are a group based in the land down under and will mostly be working on chinese dramas.

We have been inspired by the great generosity of the D-Addicts community so we would like to involve the people of this community as much as possible. Which is why you have the choice of our first project.

Journey to the West
The mainland china version and the best version. Different to the one uploaded by JEM. I grew up watching this.

We are also open to suggestions e.g Taiwanese dramas that have raws available on D-addicts, clubbox or you can provide them (which you will be credited for).

P.S Sorry to be crude but we would like to say this from the get go. We will not take any **** from leechers because all members of this group have an extreme study workload (trust me, we are from an asian family). If we feel that leechers are ungrateful, we will simply keep our hardwork to ourselves. Sorry, I know almost everyone here is not like that. Smile

Disclaimer: There may be an unlikely chance where we may change our minds on our first project even if it wins this poll.

I agree the mainland china version is definitely the best ever will be. That stuff is classic. (omg my child hood?)

I voted for Journey to the West. The mainland version is by far the best one. I watched it dubbed in Vietnamese so it'll be interesting to see the original version with subs. =D

Journey to the West is absolutely awesome. It's one of my first chinese series as a kid and still a fav now. Liu Xiao Ling Tong as Sun Wu Kong rocks! People nowadays might not appreciate the relatively early graphics, but the acting and fighting are unbeatable. The guy who does Sun Wu Kong's voice in the Mandarin version is really good too.

anywayz since I saw it already and I have no idea what the other two dramas are so I just picked one... Healing Hands lmao Smile

if you need help editing translations id be glad to help.. my chiense isnt perfect yet tho.. im still only 17 pinch

but my chinese to english is pretty good.. but if not, thanks for startign to sub chiense stuff for non chiense speakers =)

I vote for Journey to the West - I've never watched the mainland Chinese version and since I don't know Mandarin, this would be great!
