Do know for a fact that it's longer than 13 mins? I've seen quite a number of SPs that were actually just summaries rather than extending a storyline, which is why my favorite line is "the special ain't special." I didn't download it myself.

Here are some (badly) translated subtitles, good enough to know what's going on.
This special blows, however, half of it are flashbacks and the rest is pretty uninteresting. Not recommended.

I know this has been dead for a year, but I wanted to add this for completeness. I specifically bought a DVD copy over a VCD set because it had the special. I was disaapointed because it wasn't the actual special aired in Japan, just a 13 minute segment from who know where.
The special aired in Japan was an hour long, introduced by a TV personality sort of like Masterpiece Theather or Twilight Zone. Rika was working for another un-named company, had a training session in Ehime, and had some time to re-explore places see visited. Lots of flashbacks, so you really didn't miss anything.

I don't know what the first part means, but the second part was all included in this special.

| Well, in The Twilight Zone, Rod Sterling would introduce that night's story, and in Masterpiece Theather, Alistair MacLean would introduce the series of dramas on the first episode and recap the story on subsequent episodes. So in this manner, a Japanese celeb, introduced the Tokyo Love Story special reprize show, which was an hour, possibly 2, now that I think of it. Its not clear on this thread if the download is that 13 minute piece is the so called the special on the DVD, or the actual special that aired in Japan, so I suppose that was another reason for posting in this thread;)

| Oh right, well not sure why they only included the short version. I guess it's cheaper?
